|April Anne-Dissinger Bell||Grand Detour Cemetery|
Do you know if this cemetery has been fully surveyed? I noticed that you created a few memorials in 2008 that were blank or only had inscriptions or a first name but no pictures. I found a mortality document for a great grandfather (John S. Shook) that shows he died in Pine Creek or Grand Detour in 1880 but I can not find any burial records or anything else. One of his sons is for sure buried there (Samuel J. Shook) but his wife's parents are also there (Winebrenner) Just wondering if he may be there but not on findagrave yet.. Thanks for any info you can give me!

|SHL||Find A Grave Memorial# 40262400|
Based upon work I have been doing on the Brant and Dull families I believe that the person listed as the spouse of Catharine Brant on Find A Grave Memorial# 40262400 is incorrect.
My research indicates that Catharine (--) Brant is the third wife of John J. Brant. Census records show they had 4 children: Charles W. Brant, Jacob Brant, Minnie Brant and Wolds Brant. I found some additional information on Charles W. Brant, but not on the other children.
Other Family members also located in this cemetery are:
1. John J. Brant, Find A Grave Memorial# 40262398.
2. Elizabeth (--) Weighley, John J. Brant's fifth wife, Find A Grave Memorial# 40262401. Elizabeth was previously married to a P. Weighley and appears to be buried with a son from that marriage.
3. Charles W. Brant, son of John J. and Catherine (--) Brant, Find A Grave Memorial# 40262402.
4. Belinda Brant, I believe is the wife of Charles W. Brant, Find A Grave Memorial# 40262403. She is listed in at least the 1880 census as "Melinda".
5. Ulyses S. Brant, I believe is the son of Charles W. and Belinda/Melinda Brant, Find A Grave Memorial# 40262404
If you would like more details to make a determination regarding changing the spousal information please let me know.

First, I want to thank you for all the work you did on the Flagg Center Cemetery in Ogle County, Illinois. Second, I want to let you know I was at that cemetery September 2016 and my husband and I photographed many a headstone there and I am slowly putting the photos with the information that has been provided. I have many family members out there.
Thanks again for all you are doing.

I should inform you on my error, Sarah Baker was Married to (Blackhawk), Yes. But not Chief Black Hawk. She was married to his son black Hawk who used the English name Stephen Taylor Jr. His father was also know as Stephen Taylor Sr. But he was the Chief of the Suc and Fox.
I have Jr. dying around 1820. Ailey was born in 1819. Jr's sister died in the same year. Sarah's indian name was "Morning Fawn" and Ailey's was "Running Fawn"
Sarah is the granddaughter of Chief Dragging Canoe.

|Susan Renfro Anderson||Irene Catherine Griswold|
I have been looking for the grave of her husband Elver Myron Griswold II. I see his mother Bessie Burns Griswold which I have linked to her husband Elver Myron Griswold and her parents.
I am reluctant to add a memorial to their son and Irene Catherine Griswold 's husband, since I am not directly related. Bessie is my grandfather's sister.

|Alex P. Reed||James E. Boumgarden|
His mother is not Hattie (Friemuth) Boumgarden. James' biological mother is Hazel Georgetta DeBaufer. She had James and his twin brother "Billy" out of wedlock with James' father Ernest and they were never married. James has an older half-sister Judy, from Hazel's first marriage to Phillip Broach, and Hazel abandoned James and "Billy" after they were born, so Ernest raised James and his twin brother was adopted. Ernest would marry Hattie after this and a daughter, Connery, was born to this union (James' younger half-sister). Hazel herself would marry her second husband Leonard Carner years later and that was her married name until her death in 1988. James would find out in the early 1990s that Hazel was his mother, after locating his maternal aunt, Myrtle Hieronimus, and she told him everything. Hattie also relayed to Cindy, James' wife, that he had a twin brother and James tried to find him until his own death in 1994. James did finally meet Judy, his mother's first child, shortly before his death. Please link James Boumgarden to his biological mother Hazel. I made her memorial and you can find it in my profile.

|Virginia Duffey||Eliza Cain Memorial #27774434|
Thank you for listing this memorial and photo on Find a Grave. I believe this Eliza Cain and her husband, "Unknown Cain" may be my 2x Great Grandmother and Grandfather, Eliza Orton Cain and Justus H Cain. Would it be possible to get high resolution photos of both stones from you? If they are indeed my ancestors, I would appreciate transfer of sponsorships to me; however, I first want to be reasonably sure these are the right ones.

|Michael Stanley Klimczak||Your bio|
I just came across your profile and read your bio, particularly on your work regarding the restoration of Brooklyn Cemetery. Nice job! In fact, there's a very tiny cemetery near my home that I'd like to restore, but I'm unsure as to the process to go about it. Can you tell me how you went about doing it (i.e. getting permission, etc.)? Thank you!

I am doing research on my Brockmeier ancestors and just visited the North Grove Zion church and cemetery today. I see you have a memorial page for Harmon Brockmeier born 1859 & died 1860, with a note "son of D &V". I'm wondering if Harmon is actually a son of Heinrich and Caroline Brockmeier, my maternal 2nd great-grandparents, for whom you have also placed memorials and taken pictures. It seems as though there is an inscription on the side of Heinrich and Caroline's monument but it's not legible. Is that possibly mention of Harmon? Unfortunately, the church no longer has the earliest cemetery records and they start now at 1861. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you. Keith Westman
