|Linda J. Morris||Your Yakley family|
Cindy, So glad you have all these memorials. Let me find out they came from Germany, Now I will tell you why I got so excited to find someone named Yeakley in the obituary, The Yeakleys came from Switzerland back in the early 1700's. There were two boys. I and Allen Yeakley come from George but..his brother Jacob had a long line in his family that spelled their name as Yakley. For a bit there, I thought I had found something new. haha. Still want to know about Allen and Brenda if you don't mind.

|Linda J. Morris||Your memorial for Yakley|
Cindy, Your name is familiar but I can't place you. However, on this memorial you have an obituary and listed is Allen and Brenda Yeakley. Now you know there are Yeakleys in this cemetery and I happen to have the largest family tree on them. However, I do not have Allen. Do you know his or if he is interested? I have them back to George who served in the Rev.War. Also, I have so many Wheelers that I just may have yours too. My line never went to Arkansas but they all at one time were in Missouri. Would like to hear from you.

|Anna Herrera||Memorial # 37602825|
I appologize but some of the time I forget about the find a grave/graves and I can't find what I am looking for then I create a duplicate. #37602825 appears to be a duplicate. On the other grave I started to edit and I contacted the creator of this same grave site. She said if I delete this memorial she will transfer the one she created in 2003 to me. Do I need your permission to delete? Thank you, Anna

Cindy, I was more that happy to transfer the Yakley memorials to you. There is a area marked by concrete that the stone sets to the front of and in middle. I would guess all five graves are in that area. I only live a few miles from Blue Mound and will go back and get the dates from Sarah's side of stone. I did not realize that it was not going to be readable in the picture and I didn't write the info down. When I get the dates I will send them to you thru the edit/suggestion option. Kathy

|Fran Baumgartel||RE: Echols family roots|
I spoke with someone this summer who was a decendent of Idabelle Evans who was Nancy Echols oldest child. Then my computer began having troubles and finally crashed. I lost my information and wasn't able to reach you. I'm using my daughter's computer now. Then I remembered Find a Grave. I do have some info on Nancy Evans Wilson that I would love to share. Please let me know if you are interested.

|lena bleacher||Echols family info|
Hello, my name is Lena and I am looking for info on my family. It says on here that Lula Echols was married to a Jonas Morrell in July of 1884. The grandparents are correct on here but the husband is not. My grandmother was her grandaughter. The Lula Echols I am looking for was married to John Albert Manley (my grandmother's father) on September 11,1884 in Crawford Co. Arkansas. Her father was Robert H. Echols married to Mary Frances (Evans)Echols on Oct. 31, 1866. His father was Shapleigh P. Echols Sr.; married to Sarah L. (Summerville)Echols. I am not sure if This Lula is the same Lula I am related to that you have listed on here or not. I don't have a lot of info on her like birth or death dates. I have talked to my aunt who is also Lula's grandaughter and she remembered some info but not much. I am also looking for more info on her husband John Albert Manley. I would love to connect and talk. Thanks~ Lena

Sure Cindy, I'd love to connect.
My father was H.Hartley Black, the youngest of Sallie Frances Evans and Tom Black's seven children. They lived in Texarkana, AK. Sallie died when my dad was 18 mos. old from complications with her 8th pregnancy. Tom was 47 years old when my dad was born and my dad was 47 when I was born. I will be 60 yrs. old in September and people find it hard to believe that my grandfather Black was born before the Civil war in 1858.I do know that Nancy Echols Evans Wilson lived in Texarkana also and I believe that in 1900 my grandparents purchased land from her. It was also relayed by my Aunt Nannie that Tom and his mother-in-law Nancy did not get along. He was quite a bit older than Sallie and I think he was probably closer to Nancy in age. I still have some cousins that live in that area. One lives in Stamps, AK and others in Texas. My dad is buried in Texarkana. He died when I was quite yooung and we relocated to Pittsburgh, PA where my mom's family lived. I can tell you a bit more but my knowledge of the Echols is limited.

|Linda J. Morris||Yakeley|
Cindy, Your Mathias Yakeley is from the very same family line that the Yeakley family there in Arkansas. He is listed in the "Counting Kindred" book in the section of Anna Deppen who married George Yeakley. So, if you have a tree, I would love to know about it. So many spellings have been used but this one, Yakeley, is the only one I have found. lol
Please let me hear from you. My name is Linda Morris and I do have a tree under George and Anna on rootsweb.com and would love to add additional names to it.
