McKinsey Family
Please accept my sincere thanks for the quick response and the many edits and links I sent to you regarding various McKinsey Family members. More importantly, thank you for documenting these graves and providing the many headstone photos accompanying them. You have provided a valuable volunteer service for those of us researching that family (my son-in-law's). Best regards,

Pine Grove Cemetery, Ridgway, Elk County, PA, USA
Hello! I noticed you had added a photo to a memorial at this cemetery, and I was wondering if maybe you could be of some help.

I suspect that a couple of my great-grandparents may be buried there, but they have no memorials, and I haven't been able to find any information online about them. I also tried to find contact information for the cemetery and couldn't find that either. Do you know if there is an email or a phone I could call for information on someone who might be buried there?

thanks so much for your help!

Ronald Anthony
Hello Wendy, I was wrong about the name Irene on Ronald Anthony's grave stone. Irene was his second wife and may still be alive. My sister-in-law told me that information. Sorry about that. Gladys

RE: Annie Anthony
Hello Wendy
Thank you for transferring the grave of Annie Anthony over to me. She was my grandmother by marriage and such a sweet person! I don't know a Mike Anthony, but will ask my sister-in-law if she knows him. Ronald L. is one of Annie's children. He lived in Illinois, but is also buried in Saint Paul's Cemetery. The Irene on his tombstone was a first wife, and they divorced. I will be linking Grandma Anthony to her children soon. It's so rewarding to be a part of the Find a Grave community. Thanks again and keep in touch.
Sincerely, Gladys

Morris Strine #48402885

Dear Wendy Houck,

Would you consider transferring the memorial you created of: Morris Strine #48402885.

If so, then I can make some necessary editions to his memorial page.

Thank you for your consideration and creating this memorial!

RE: Ebersole n Sterling Run Cemetery
Thank you so much! I see a stone associated with Alberta but it can't really be read. Any help whenever you get a chance is most appreciated.

Ebersole n Sterling Run Cemetery
I am wondering if you know whether there are two separate graves--one for Olive Alberta Ebersole and one for Alberta. I am trying to determine if they are the same person or not. Any info you might know would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Smith Farm Cemetery
I wonder what is going to happen to the Smith Farm Cemetery in Silver Spring Twp, Rt 114, near 81 ramp, down the road from Walmart. It is a mess right now. There is commercial construction going on there. I am thinking of contacting the group that is selling the lots to make sure they will preserve the cemetery.

RE: William Thomson
Thanks, Wendy but I don't believe my William is the same one because he had 3 wives and none of them were named Jane. Thanks again!

William Thomson
Hi! I was wondering why the P was dropped in Thompson? He is buried in Thompson Lock Cemetery and it has the P, do you know anything about the spelling? I am just trying to figure out if he is my William because of the spelling being different but mine has the same birth and death so any information you can give me will be appreciated. Also is he buried with a wife? My William was married 3 times.

Thanks, Deb

RE: P.S. I just read your profile...
Thanks Wendy for your message and the transfers. Give me a little time to think about that and I'll email you with anything specific. I'm looking for a connection in that area. There are multiple well documented lines but I just can't seem to connect my William to any of them. I sometimes think he may have been a black sheep. His wife was from a Mennonite family and I think he at some point was involved in alcohol (one way or another) I've found applications for a saloon keeper's license under his name right there in Mt. Joy. I also found he had an altercation with someone and ended up in Lancaster county jail. This was around the beginning of the civil war so I'm not sure how it all relates. One day maybe I'll figure it out!

RE: P.S. I just read your profile...
Thanks for you kind words, I try my best... I usually back and follow up to see if the bios I send get posted. I spend too much time researching to throw the data away. Some are happy to get data, others not so much...go figure. I appreciate your offer on Mary - I see you have a few Saylors but I'm still trying to connect mine that were in the Florin/ Mount Joy area. Looks like you are in my "sweet spot" area. Thanks for posting the bio :-)

Hi Wendy,
I would like to request you delete the 2 pics for the obit on the above memorial. I have typed it out and place in the BIO of his page.
Also could you please delete the pic of his sons gravestone, John W. Simmons. The photo has been placed on John's memorial already.
Thanks a lot for your help.

RE: Clara Ensminger

As much trouble searching for ones ancestors, one finds those that like the same thing. The Ensmingers are just a twig but are still part of my makeup.

I thank you again, Nipper

Love puzzles and mysteries, and that is what our ancestors are good at doing.
