The headstone has been sent out to be carved and isn't back yet. I also wonder if the ground has to be dry for them to reset it, and we are still in Winter here in Utah. My claim on the record has expired and it wouldn't let me claim it again. So I am paying attention and will shoot it as soon as I can. Just leave the photo request there and that will remind me.

I was told by another cousin that Alex enlisted during WWII and died in combat. Can't find any confirmation of this online. Do you know anything from the family about this?
Would like to add it if true...

I fully agree with you. Plagiarism is no laughing matter and he does it with other materials, like obits. You don't need to feel bad about what you said to him.
I left a cautionary message for him. Maybe he will stop and reconsider his actions before Find A Grave cancels his membership.... they do do it without remorse.
Thank you for speaking up.
Good day, Martin Burrell

Hi Bluzcat, I believe fulfilled a photo request for you in the spring for John George Pezely in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. I have now located his parents in the same cemetery, created memorials, and was hoping you would link John George to them. His father was Paul Pezely Find A Grave 114473999, his mother was Manda (Amanda) Pezely Find A Grave 114473903. Hope this helps out your research!

|Laurie Jackson Bishop||RE: Frank Rolfe Lind Jr|
Hi Carol! I just saw your message about Allyn Lind. Are you talking about the baby of Robert & Doris Lind that has the same birth & death date? If so, I had never heard about this child! I only ever knew of my Mom, Uncle Mike & my Aunt C. I asked my Mother about the child & as far as she knows, the baby was stillborn, & that there wasn't a grave for the baby. Sounds like it was not something that was ever discussed. So, I guess there's no need to make a memorial for the poor little baby! Actually, I will ask my Aunt C if she knows any other information about it. I will let you know if I am able to find out anything else.
Yes, my Auntie Leah is a great Genealogist! Most of what I have for my Lind lines came from her! I love her dearly & am so grateful for all of her hard work!
I'm not sure if I've told you this yet, but I feel you should know. I am not able to do much active Genealogy work these days, as I have illnesses that have become bad enough to make me be bedridden. With all of the problems I have, I am very limited as to what & how much I am able to do. It makes me so sad! But that is why I didn't see your message for much too long! I apologize for the delay! I hope all is going well for you in your life & research! Hugs & love, Laurie

May I use the pictures you have posted on Find A Grave for our family members on my tree at Ancestry.com? I would, of course, give you credit for the photos.

I found a few more Pezely in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. They are George (1888-1938) and Ika (1890-1972). I don't think they are on Find A Grave so I'll make a memorial for them, but wanted to let you know, in care they fit into your family tree somewhere.

Sorry about the multiple messages, I fulfilled your photo request for Louis Romano as well.

Sorry about that, there is already a memorial for the other John I found! I added the picture to his memorial. Sometimes I get ahead of myself!

Hi, RJ again. I fulfilled your two other requests for Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Salt Lake, for John and Josephine Pezely. They share a stone. I have additional pictures, if you'd like them. There were quite a few flowers around, including two potted mini-daffodils. I moved them for the pictures but returned them as soon as I was done. To the left of the stone was a flat stone, reading "John P. Pezely", b. Nov 4, 1948 d. Dec 9, 2007, Loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend." I don't know how/if he fits into the Pezely tree, but if you'd like to make a memorial for him, let me know. Or I can, either way. I have a picture to upload to it.

Hi Bluzcat, I fulfilled your photo requests for Eva and Angelo Gertino at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Salt Lake City. I have additional shots, close-ups; if you'd like them, let me know, I can email them along. Also, there is nothing inscribed on the back of the stone.

|Linda||RE: Haynes Headstones|
Hi -- you had me worried there -- the last picture is of all the Haynes headstones in close proximity to each other. I can't change the order of the pictures as I didn't enter the Memorial record. I've sent a message to Todd Stone asking him to change the order of the pictures.
(If you open the picture you are referencing it tells what headstones are in the photo).

|Teddy||Joseph V. Sollazzo|
Re-submit your photo request to finda-grave for a picture of Joseph V. Sollazzo's headstone. I edited the memorial and transfered him to Cedar Lawn Cemetery. The reason I had him in the other cemetery is because that is where his obituary stated that he was buried. The funeral home made a mistake by putting the other cemetery in the obituary. I have also edited the obituary to read that he is buried in Cedar Lawn Cemetery.

I just noticed today that you had added a photo of Hannibal. Are you descended from him? If so, I'll be glad to transfer his memorial to you, and those of his wife and children. Just let me know.

Sorry it is taking so long but "I am not as young as I used to was" and this heat is slowing me down. It is 100 again today. I plan to take the Mary C. Sollazzo marker in Walnut Hill also but when I was over there the other day I learned it will have to be a late afternoon or early evening shot due to filtered sunlight through the trees earlier in the day. The cemeteries there are wooded hillsides and the sunlight partially shining through the leaves makes for bad photos which I am unable to edit with my limited skills and software. If you have any interest in this particular grave, you will be happy I waited for the right light. Also, you may be interested to know, she is buried between August and Everett Jantzon.
