Riley's
Hi:

I am helping my Uncle Jack Riley, who will be 90 years young in May, with his family history.

I understand your cousin was married to Jess Riley, Jr. - well that would be my Uncle Jack's brother (that is unless there are two Jess Riley, Jr.)

If you don't mind my asking, what was/is your cousins name?

Thank you so very much - I certainly appreciate any help you can give me.

Thanks for your note. I don't know enough about Riley family history to know where Jesse and Owen Riley, whose relatives she seeks, are connected. The person who wrote me has this email address

jwetzel0306@outlook.com . The j stands for Jacky, if you care to write. Cindy

Hi,
I received a message from another find a Grave member who wanted me to ask you (since I received your kind message) whether you are related to The Rileys. She is searching for Rileys who are connected to Owen Riley of WV.

RE: George Grant Newbury
Thank you so much for your quick response! I had always thought that I had to be related to those Newberrys. I will do some further digging into that line! Thanks again, and please have a safe and Happy New Year!

Grant Gardner
I am thrilled that someone out there has heard of my Great Grandfather George Grant Newberry! I was just going through some new info on my Gardner line and came across this post from you about Grant Gardner. Saying that he was the 6th child of Cornelius and Leah Worster (sister to my Amanda), saying that Grant might have been named after his uncle George Grant Newberry. Do you know of any other info on George and Amanda, but especially George? I cannot find anything on his parents, I have info on their kids but that is it! Many thanks, Debra (Kildew) Vogel

Thank You in the Memorial's on the Bise Family interred in West Va

Wilma Lee Bise
B:
8 Aug 1944 in Lost Creek, Harrison County, West Virginia, USA
D:
30 Sept 1944 in St. Mary's Hospital, Clarksburg, Harrison County, West V...
Parents
Dennis Monroe Bise
1896-1952
Pearl Buena Cook
1902-1996

These parent's did lose infant's. They are interred by parent's. Should this be helpful in their memorial's.

Thank You greatly for all you do connecting them for those trying to find this family. They had a large family, some did move from West Va joining the Military and interred elsewhere. Thus, this helps to link those to their parents. You do an outstanding task. That cemetery looks so peaceful.

Blessings to y'all

You are VERY welcome. We were so excited when we were walking up and down the rows at Memorial and saw the Elston marker. We knew you'd be happy.
Please let us know if there any other Elston's you would like photographed. Happy to help.

You're welcome. It's slow going in the old section. I'll pay particular attention for the Lindsey name next time. It's kind of fun to find a really old one.

Thank you for posting a photo of Mary's headstone. Mary is found on the 1860 census living with her son Enoch & his family. The census shows she is 83 & was born NJ. The memorial states she died in 1853. Is there a date on the headstone?

Edward F. Golden
Hi! It's so nice to have found Edward's family and I've transferred him to you. He's not a relative of mine, I only noticed him because of the Golden name. I'm not sure his remains ended up at Calvary, but many of those sent to the Anatomical Board in St. Louis in that time period did, so I put him there. FindAGrave used to have "St. Louis Anatomical Board" as a cemetery, but then they deleted it. Additional research may give you more information. I believe Calvary cemetery has a monument to those whose bodies were dedicated to science and who were then buried there. Good luck in your search!

RE: Joel Clark
Hi. Thanks. I'm not related. My husband might be, but a man contacted me that is related. I've sent him the link to see your Find A Grave memorial. He may want to manage it. He will let you know. This is exciting because he was having trouble finding the death info and I actually found it, then found your memorial which has his wife and a son linked to it. I will link the parents if you feel this is the correct person. Where did you get the date of Sept. 2? Do you think that was in error? It is so close to Oct. 3 and the right area and age for the Joel on the birth and death records I found. We have the link to the parents. I'll link them. Thanks for your fast response. Cynthia
