Deleted his memorial. It was an error I picked up from an online data base. Thanks for catching it.

RE: Company B 33rd Illinois
I do have both his and his wife's personal photo albums. Both contain original pictures of Company B soldiers as well as themselves. Thanks -- Rodger B.

Company B 33rd Illinois
"My great-grandfather, James Bruce McCampbell, was a sergeant in Co. B, 33rd Illinois Infantry. In a trunk of his belongings were 30 photographs of his comrades in Company B. I entered the pictures of those whose burial sites I could find on Findagrave."

My great grandfather, Edward Payson Hatch, served in Company B. as well. I probably have all of the same pictures as you. I also have a book which contains the history of Company B. If you would like, I can make some copies for you.

Millers Chapel Cemetery
I seen that you posted the cemetery picture for Millers Chapel in the 1950's my Granddad and mother mowed this cemetery, I was wondering if you knew how I could contact the cemetery board to see if they could tell me where I might acquire a copy of the newspaper article that told of the tornado in 2006 that took out the church.

My mother has many fond memories of Millers Chapel and it would mean so much to her if I could find her at least a picture of the church.

Thank you so much for your time

RE: Joseph Wadleigh
Marjorie - Sorry it has taken so long to address your suggestion. I added your information to Joseph with a note acknowledging the differences in dates of death. There is no memorial for Betty in the records of Upper Yard, and no records for Elizabeth or Betty (Longfellow) Wadleigh anywhere in Rockingham County. There is an Elizabeth (Dole) Wadleigh in Wadleigh Cemetery in Exeter/Kingston (Find A Grave Memorial# 82494643) indicated by the memorial creator as the mother of Betsey Wadleigh (1782-1783) buried in Upper Yard. RE: Edward Payson Hatch

Sorry to take so long getting back to you. If you would like digital copies of Edward P Hatch's Civil War Letters, I can send you a CD. They are about 108 MB and will not email unless you have Drop Box or something similar.

I am related only because Pete VanCleave married into the Gardner line - she being my grandfather's sister. Peter Julian VanCleave (born 6-12-1876, Peoria, IA; died 3-22-1943, Emmett, ID), listed as Charles Leshe VanCleave in birthcertificate... married Caroline Mary Louise Gardner (born.2-18-1877, Schenectady, NY; died 7-24, 1938, Smith Center, KS) on Feb. 27, 1898 in Smith County, Kansas ..There were 8 children...I have fair records of all of these 8 families, plus obits etc. Elizabeth

I would love to maintain if that is OK. Possibly that would eventually lead me to relatives who would like the letters, too.

Edward Payson Hatch
Noticed you posted he picture of Edward Payson Hatch. We have additional details of his life in Illinois. His father was James C Hatch of Lisle IL # 33723087. James C was brother of my gr gr grandfather, Luther Hatch. We also have a collection of E P Hatches Civil War letters that might be of interest if descendants are still around.
