Thelma (Payne) Coberly
Ralph Randolph Bruner #64318830
I was checking on some information on this relative of mine and was pleasantly surprised to see you had transferred his Find a Grave to me. Thank you so much for doing that. I don't know how long ago you did it, but I do appreciate it! HIs wife, Freida passed away last year and I was hoping there would be some information on Find a Grave for her. We were not able to attend the funeral. These two people are very special to us! Thank you again for your consideration of letting me take care care of Ralph's Find a Grave! Continued good luck in the future with getting information on others for Find a Grave. It is the best thing to be on the computer for so many hundreds of us! You are appreciated!!!
Sincerely, Thelma Coberly, contributor 47839191 Feb. 10, 2015

Alice Morton
Good Morning
I noticed that you have put a memorial on Find A Grave for David Joseph Barnard 1858-1935, husband of Anna
Missouri Barnard. The records of Laurel Grove Cemetery do not have Joseph listed. Do you have some information that states he is there?
Thanks, I am trying to clear up the records.
Alice

The other memorial is not mine. I was just researching the family. You will need to work with them or have them merged. There should not be two for any reason.

Your great-great-great grandmother Phoebe Ferguson is my great-great Aunt (my great-great grandfather Anderson Ferguson's sister).

Phoebe Ferguson Married David Barnard (and I have no doubt that David is related also. My great-great Grandmother, Anderson's wife was Nancy Barnard), Phoebe Ferguson's daughter,

Phoebe Barnard married Robert Henry Fields their daughter,

Anna Grace Fields married William Marion Pugh.

It does make like a chinese puzzle trying to figure the relationships at times.

We are both battling bronchitis so had a quiet Thanksgiving.

God Bless!!

No I don't. it is jjksmith@frontiernet.net. Could be just a glitch in the system. Let me know if it doesn't work for you. Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanks for your reply and edit. I wouldn't have noticed the error, but I. T. Is a very distant relative. I always thought there was a Carl Trauerman, but now the info is digitized and online.

A. Wayne Webb
Hazel Macklin (1899-1914)
Her full name was Hazel Marie Macklin and she was born on Mar. 17, 1899, dying on Aug. 19, 1914. Cause of death was murder. If I'm reading the marriage correctly, and I strongly believe I am, her mother was 2 months pregnant when they were married. Hazel's mother's last name was McGowan, not Allespaugh.

All-in-all, the story of the death of Hazel is extremely interesting as today we would call it a sexual assault and murder.

Memorial# 126825181 Bio Edit
Thank you so much for the edits.

I forgot to add that the baby girl Charles and Emma had in 1885 died three months later of enteritis and is buried in Oakdale Memorial Gardens in Davenport, Iowa.

Can you add in a new sentence in the appropriate spot after where it says she was immediately baptized:
Esta Edna Manlove died three months later of enteritis and is buried in Oakdale Memorial Gardens in Davenport, Iowa.

Marsha Hosfeld
David Rhoades - Greenwood Cemetery
I am looking for David Rhoades (1799-1874) who served in the War of 1812. He was the father of Levi, Edward and Martin Rhoades (among others).
I am wondering if this might be him. Not something I expect you to know, but since you indicated he was a veteran, I just thought I would ask.
Thanks, Marsha H.

you can always leave the names of living out and just add son/daughter/grandchild instead of a name if you like.
