Thank You Geneva
Thank you cousin. I have heard so much about you from my mom, Kathleen. I am her oldest child and one of Beulah Allen Maddux's granddaughters. I am also crazy about our family history and genealogy. Have you found any of our family in the Dawes Rolls? And I would love to correct any mistakes on the tree in Ancestry. God bless you!

This is my relationsip to Edmond/Edward C. Allen.
Edmond C Allen (1833 - 1908)
3rd great-uncle
William Henry Allen Jr. (1810 - 1870)
father of Edmond C Allen
James Almsrine Allen (1831 - 1906)
son of William Henry Allen Jr.
Simon Chesley Allen (1886 - 1938)
son of James Almsrine Allen
Coanell Allen (1922 - 1996)
daughter of Simon Chesley Allen
Coanell is my grandma.

You have referred to E. C. Allen, as Edward, but the 1850 Census transcribes his name as Edmond. Looking at the actual image it could have been mistranscribed, and could actually be Edward. Do you have any other documents that say his name is Edward?

RE: Edward C. Allen
Well, here's the thing, Edmond C. Allen is my 3rd great uncle. Normally I wouldn't hesitate in transferring management, but in this case, I'd rather keep him. I hope you are ok with it. I'll be happy to add any information you may have about him to his memorial. Thank you for your understanding. On the plus side, this means you and are are cousins. I'd like to connect with you if you are interested.

RE: Dock Edmond Allen
No, I do not control it. I just suggested deleting one of the duplicates. One thing you can do (since the other contributor has passed) is send an email to Find A Grave along with the links to both memorials explaining you are related and most of the time they will merge the two and give control to the family member.

That is what I have done on several occasions and they always came through for me. Send links to both memorials with your explanation to:

Sometime they do it in a few days but I have had them take up to 2 weeks....!

RE: Foest Allen
Just transferred management to you. Thank you for letting me know a little bit more about the memorial. It confirmed my suspicions that I had better take responsibility for managing this one rather than keeping it with one of the boys from the troop who were helping Patrick with his Eagle Scout Project.

Fran Chancellor
Betty Chancellor Allen

Betty passed away over 10 years ago. I do not, presently, have the death date. She was my husband's first cousin.

Harold Lee & Lenny Wagner
I was sad to locate my two old friends from high school today yet I rejoice they are reunited again with their parents. My best friend dated Lenny all through high school and we dearly loved all three of the Wagner boys. I would greatly appreciate it if you might email me at God bless!

Geneva, never mind. I wasn't thinking, found your number on the page I sent the last message. It is at the top, right of your name. G.

RE: Lenny Wagner
Hi Geneva! That is the same number and Find a Grave system doesn't recognize it. Just go to Lenny's memorial page and click on "Edit" on the upper right side of the page. Then type in "Please transfer" and click "Send". It will automatically give me your number and end the confusion. THANKS!!

RE: Transfer
Geneva, I made the transfer of James, do you want his wife too? Also do you know where they are buried and if they have a headstone? I have a request out there, but the person who searched for it said they could not find it. I got the burial information off of their death certificates. Mary

You requested a transfer of your nephew, but the number provided is for one Debbie Sharp, not you, and Ms Sharp has no entries. Is this correct?
