Eugene Cooper
Hey Lori, I was wondering if you would link Gma and Gpa to Uncle Eugene. He's the only sibling not linked.
Thx, Londa

Photo request for Ida Mae and Sanford Jefferson
Hi -- I found and just uploaded photos for these two. To answer the questions in your request -- they were buried near to each other and I don't know of any other Jefferson's in this cemetery.

The stones are worn and it will be hard to read the inscriptions from the photos. I believe the inscriptions say:

Sanford Jefferson d. Mar. 19, 1856, ae 32y, 5m

Our Little Ida May, d. Sep. 14, 1857, ae 2y, 7m, 16d, daughter of T. & E. Jefferson:

"Bud of Forest Blossom.
Nipped in early bloom.
Flown from Earthly sorrow.
Joined the Heavenly throne."

Gladys Koozer
I came across the memorial for Gladys Koozer #77688499 and the reason there is no date of death is that Mrs. Koozer is still alive and well. She is my brother's mother in law. Please remove the memorial. Regards, D Hansen

Hi Lori, Thank you for adding the photo of where Mina Francis Mayben Neal 27898118 grave is. It is nice to know where she is even though there is no marker. The cemetery area does look very serene and pretty. Thank you very much for posting this. Vicki

photo request
I received the message from FindaGrave that you indicated there is no marker for Mina Francis Mayben Neal 27898118. I sincerely appreciate you taking your time and effort to look for her marker. I would appreciate it if you would add the photo of her grave site as you indicated you have that. Thank you very much, Vicki

RE: mcculloch, bill
do you have the obit for Blanche? If so, it should have the name of the cemetary where buried or the mortuary that handled her burial. Perhaps you could find out where she was buried from that. Good luck finding her..

RE: mcculloch, bill
you might want to contact the McCulloch family about Blanche, if she is there I did not see any indications of that. But if she is supposed to be than I could go back and look more. I did feel the ground for buried stones, etc. in the taller grass and actually dug up a footstone for a family member by doing that:)

RE: mcculloch, bill
Lori, the cemetary is very small with only a few graves. I took pictures of all of the graves and posted them in McCulloch cemetary. Blanch was not there. It is on private property on a knoll with a fence surrounding it. Bill's graves was next to Manford, which I would assume is his brother by the dates.

RE: mcculloch, bill
you are welcome. I enjoyed going up there. It's a shame that some of the graves are hard to read and some broken.

RE: Your Dad
Thanks so much, Lori! I had a feeling that you might have been one of my Dad's students. Yes, genealogy is a fascinating (and addicting!) pursuit!
Thanks again,

Ludwig Wedemeyer 42742246
Hello Lori,
I was wondering if you would consider transferring the management of this www.findagrave site to me. Ludwig was my father, and I would like to add some links, photos and a bio. I am also seeking transferrence of the sites of my mother Arlene and my brother Eric, but they are managed by someone else.
I really appreciate your dedication to this work. Keep it up!
Carol Hall

RE: Kemery
Hi Lori, if you click on the "family links edit" button, you can see if I added the John's memorial number there to create a link. If it is blank, then the owner of John's memorial added the link. Hope that helps! :)Jessica

Patty C
RE: John Dennison; Lee Misson Cem.
No, I did not do the link. The asterick behind the name means the link was added from the other direction, from Rutha to John. You might want to contact Rutha's contributor if she knows anything.

Per Lee Mission's website,
John was moved to Grants Pass, but does not say to what cemetery.

RE: Mary Kay
She and my mother were cousins and though a bit of an age difference, they were life long friends. I have added a couple of pix to her memorial page of her acting days. The ones of her childhood I will have to scan as they are glossy and don't display well without scanning first. Thank you for remembering her so fondly. She was an wonderful person and a lovely lady. I hope you like the photos I added.

RE: The Jefferson's
Parsons is 37 miles away. About 20 as the crow flies. It is half way to Pittsburg, Kansas due east of there.

RE: The Jefferson's
I live in Redmond, Oregon, since last June. I was born in Neodesha in 1945. I have the cemetery records for the main cemetery including the Catholic one.

I do this to keep from going crazy sitting here retired, but my wife reminds me that it is a short trip.

Good luck. I am entering a lot of memorials just from the cemetery records and put the plot information on them.

Yes, I'm Wally's granddaughter. My mother is Judy, his daughter by his first wife, Lourine. Have you been to any of the family reunions?
