You're welcome, Beckie. Glad I could help. It was a peaceful and beautiful day in the Oakdale cemetery yesterday. I have many relatives buried there and it was a wonderful time of remembering.

All the best,

John Henry Aycock
I am a volunteer at the Franklin County Archives in Russellville, Alabama and I recently found a framed photograph of John Aycock and his wife. Their info is hand written on the back and reads:

John H. Aycock, born Aug 2, 1822 died May 20, 1898

Judith Allen Brown born in Caroline Co, VA Nov 13, 1828 died Feb 5, 1909.

John H Aycock and Judith Allen Brown were married at Tuscumbia, Ala. May 30, 1848.

(Picture taken 1848)

Thought you might like to add this info. Also, do you know where the wife might be buried?

Transfer memorial
If you would consider trasferring Roxie Ann Strickland Stack's memorial (#38796816)to my care it would be much appreciated. She is my great-grandmother on my maternal side.

Mrs. Willians,
Great work you do. Thank you so much.

I'd like to make one correction on the Find A Grave site for my parents, Buford and Catherine Suffridge. They married at 12:15 a.m. on December 25, 1938 at my grandmother's house (Gladys Egan Totten) on Green Street in Morrilton.

Thank you,
Buford Joseph Suffridge, Jr.

If you care to add it my birth date is 21 November 1940 and my sister, Catherine Gladys "Katy" Suffridge Warren was born July 3, 1946.

Hi Becky,

Yes, to the left of Roy is FREITAS, JOSEPH L,
to the right is WREN, EDWARD AUSTIN.

I'm sorry that he didn't have a marker, but hope that the gravesite brings you some comfort.

RE: Howard A. Cloninger
Hello again, We were at Memorial Park Cemetery this morning and I came across the names of Nola and Clayborne Dyal. Howard's wife Elizabeth - had the same name on her grave marker. Didn't know if they may all be related in someway. Dyal doesn't seem to be an 'ordinary' name. We put up memorial pages for the Dyals, in case you are interested.

Hello Beckie, You are very welcome. Glad we were able to locate Howard's grave for you. And yes - Elizabeth was beside him. I created a memorial page for her, and if you like me to transfer management of the page to you, just ask - be glad to do that.

Minnie M Karper

Thank you for adding Minnie M Karper ( 160512709)
to findagrave! She was married to a 3rd cousin of mine and I had searched for her death numerous times on I gave up for awhile and this morning I tried again. Voila! I found your memroail for her. I did not have a maiden name for her either. Finding her on provided me with dates which led me to the marriage record. That gave me her maiden name.

I have asked that the person who maintain's John's memorial to link him to Minnie's and to remove or edit the info on John's memorial which gives Minnie's name as Minnie May and maiden name/death unknown.

I will put an edit in on Minnie's memorial to give you her maiden name and parents' names.

John D. Carter
Hi Beckie: I emailed you on your hotmail email, wasn't sure if you saw it or not. Was wondering about the John D. Carter buried in Harper Kansas and if he was a brother to Mortimer Carter and son of Richard and Rebecca Carter. Mortimer is my Great Grandfather, his daughter Rena is my grandmother. All of them are buried in Sawyer, Kansas.

Larn Griggs Memorial# 66516088
I am the granddaughter of Ollie Griggs, Larns sister. Mary Angeline was not their mother nor was S C Griggs their father. Larn and Ollie were taken from the reservation and given to Mary Angeline (school teacher) and she changed their names. Neither Ollie nor Larn remember their biological parents names, nor their own given names. Ollie was about 3 years old when taken. This has made genealogy very difficult.

Thanks for the heads up on their relationships. I know perfectly well who their parents are - their sister Mary Catherine was my grandmother. I was obviously not paying close enough attention to my work. And now it's fixed.

possible family connection
Hi Beckie. I saw a note you put on one of my ancestors that you are also related to them. Would love to chat and see if we can find the connection. Your not was on Mildred Genita Whitley's memorial. She was my 2nd cousin 1x removed and I see you give her as your third.
