Do you have the section number and plot number? If not you can contact the cemetery at 281-332-3111 and they will look it up for you. The cemetery is so large and without this info it would be hard to locate. I will be happy to go photograph the marker/monument for you.

I think I found the ones...for Judge Ephraim Stone Fisher, and Elizabeth Louise "Lizzie" Vining? I'll use the email you have listed, and get them off to you!

Oh gosh...it's been a few days Dan, and I've forgotten which photos we were talking about. Lord, I just love these "golden years" - nuts! Remind me please - and thanks!

Me again Dan,
I also have a couple of additional pictures for Judge Ephraim Stone Fisher, b. 1815. I noticed that another member has questioned the age, etc. of the photo that is posted, so thought you might want more? They ARE the same person.

We've corresponded before...cousins thru the Vining line. Anyway, I've got a picture of Elizabeth Louise "Lizzie" Vining. If you would contact me directly at firstname.lastname@example.org, I'll be glad to email it to you, so that you can add it here on Find A Grave for her memorial page.
Hope all is well...

|Gibson BJ||RE: John Gibson's parents|
Thanks, Dan. It's Joseph Gibson, Sr. m. Elizabeth Hand who I have as John Gibson's parents. I saw Joseph Gibson's original will in the courthouse archives in Rockingham County, NC @ 1985. I am descended from Joseph Gibson, Sr's son, Joseph Gibson, Jr who is a brother to John Gibson b. 1760 Orange Co., NC d. Lincoln Co., TN

Dan, I am curious as to where you received the information that John Gibson's parents are Randolph Gibson and Mary Crowley. In my 30-year genealogical research of my Gibson roots and my father's 10-year research before that, we have always traced him back to his parents being Joseph Gibson, Sr. and Elizabeth Hand of Rockingham Co., NC.

I have to question the authenticity of this photo. He hardly seems like he could be 30 years old and photos from the 1840s are pretty unusual. What's your source for this?

Can you please coordinate with the other person who created Townes Cemetery in Mississippi and the memorials therein, merge them and make a unique cemetery and unique memorials?

Today I heard from a ggrand-niece of James Overton Hill who was married to Annie Brown Hill. After all these years of not knowing she told me James Overton Hill was buried in Oklahoma in Liberty Cemetery.
She might know the answer to the question you asked me regarding where your ggrandfather might be buried. I will send you a personal email with what I believe is her email address.

I found your memorial to James Overton Hill; my great-grandfather was John Hutchinson Hill b. 3-13-1852 Murfreesboro, Tn., d. 2-2-1939 Frisco, Tex. they might be brothers; J.H.Hill's parents were James(Hutchinson?)(Overton?) Hill b. 1813 d.1896 Murfr. Tn. & Oliva Ann Hutchinson(Hutcherson). I am trying to find out where James and Oliva are buried. Thought you might be related to them.
Since you wrote me this J.O. Hill's grandson passed away. Uncle Jimmy is buried in the Morton Memorial Cemetery in Morton Texas. Jimmy's name is also James Overton
Just wondering if you have gathered more puzzle pieces and wanted you to know about Uncle Jimmy's passing

I just transferred the memorial. The info I placed there is from the Howell, TN., Bicentennial Book (1986). It contains info from history of the church written by my great uncle, John Harris, and from traditions compiled by a Ms. Dunivan, a member of the CP Church in 1986.
I was raised in the area but never knew the history of the Gibsons until recently.
I also posted 2 photos of the cemetery which I expect will be approved by Find A Grave shortly.
I was disappointed that we only found 3 markers. The Marsh Book of Lincoln County Burials indicated the existence of several others. There were several field stone markers.
Let me know if I can help in any other way.
