RE: Thomas burials
Hi Judy,

Along w/Ethel Ellen & her parents James & Ellen
Thomas, there is a Headstone for Edith Pearl Thomas,
Ethel's 1st cousin (Samuel & Rosina's dau.). Right by
Edith's Headstone is one for "Ed". Ed's last name
is either missing or unreadable, but he may be Edith's
brother. Do you know how Ed is related?
Thx,
George

RE: Francis
Thank you! It's been a while since I was looking into my history but it's great to hear from you. So it sounds like I'm related to your daughter-in-law, that's wonderful! I've met 2 other distance relatives since researching, I love knowing that there are more out there! Please feel free to email me, I'd love to hear from her.
Thanks again for reaching out!

Two identical Reubens
Hello Judy,
I stumbled onto another Reuben C. Tanquary, but I did not make a note which one is yours; the two #s are 122718263 and 9691683. The person who manages "the other" has passed.

Regards,

George

Re: Fannie Crackel (or Crackle)
Greetings Judy,

Continuing to add to my Rigg family database (because of my son-in-law), I discovered Harrison Barker Rigg at the Rigg Family Web site under his father, Charles Rigg and Charles' wife Elizabeth Rachel Barker. Then, I found Harrison's memorial page in your care at Find-A-Grave. I'm writing because David Rigg (www.number-one.org) has Fannie's last name as Crackel. What are your thoughts?

About the 2 James Olivers
Judy, it just hit me that father (#126725570) and son died about the same time and the mother's gone. There HAS to be something extraordinary about that.

A different Middle name?
Greetings, Judy.

I've just resumed genealogy work after having my six-year-old hard drive to crash, forcing me to buy a new computer, restore all my files, and move on. Anyhow, I discovered in Graves of Wabash County that the person we had as Harry Alfred Joachim was shown as Harry Alford Joachim. All the other relevant data was apparently compatible.

RE: Descendants of John & Elizabeth Rigg
Hello, Judy.

I'm lucky enough to have become "acquainted" with the David Rigg, who manages the Rigg Family Web site. I'll pose a question about Cecile and Ruel to him and see what he comes up with. Please excuse me for not having responded much earlier. I admit, asking David had crossed my mind but I didn't act on it - until now.

Descendants of John & Elizabeth Rigg
Judy, I have not found the one child, Ruel, attributed to Elizabeth Joachim and John Samuel Rigg. On the other hand, I have found six children attributed to them. Here's a copy-and-paste of a PDF file I was unable to attach. The four digit number in parentheses is the ID my Legacy App attaches to a person when that person is added to the database.

Mildred Drayer Rigg
Judy, recently, I stumbled on a Web page that seemed to say that Harry Oscar Rigg's wife was REALLY Mildred Dreyer Powell and this almost has my head spinning. Have you seen anything like this?

Help!
Dear Ms Legg, would you please clear up something that I do not understand? I am accumulating ancestors of my son-in-law, David Rigg. On the Find A Grave site, I found Charles Lewis Rigg (b. 1814), who married a Catherine Rice (B. 1819). Charles' father was Samuel Rigg (B. 1791), who married Rachel Beauchamp (B. 1794). Here's the source of my confusion: there's a listing headed "Children of Charles and Rachel:" with 12 children. Could this listing be a meld of two families? The reason I ask is because Charles' wife was Catherine Rice.

David & Jemima Gerard Gravestone photo
Hi Judy,
Thank you so much for the gravestone photo of David & Jemima Gerard. David was my 4th great grand uncle (my 4x great grandfather's brother).
Would it be okay if I used the photo on my family tree? I would note "photo courtesy of Judy Legg." If not, that's okay. Thanks so much for the photo!

Regards,
Rick Daily
