I am related to all the Frankenfields, as far as I know. My Grandmother was a Frankenfield.

Ada Virginia Carlyle Griffith (#139488207) was my grandfather's sister. I have linked her to most of her family members. Would you consider transferring her record to me so that I can add some additional family information going forward?

It's the grave covering. Just off the top of my head I can think of only 3 others like that in Campbell County, and none in as good condition. I have read about them and I understand that they're common in other parts of the country, but a rarity around here.
We have a couple of grave houses (a roof with 4 corner posts supporting it) and two or three very large ledger stones the size of the actual grave, but the false tombs are always interesting. I wonder why the family chose that instead of the traditional headstone?

Thank you so much for the bio info for John Lay. Although not my family, his grave is one of the most curious here in Campbell County.

Yes, She was my Great-Aunt. I don't have a lot on her but knew her brother, Ben very well. She was born about 1910 and she married J G Higginbotham. That is all I know. Are we related? My grandfather was William Malon Smith, her half brother from the first marriage.

|Diane Clark Smith||Lyons family|
I notice that have created numberous memorials for this family. I would like to contact Bethany to ask about records for a possible burial in this family. It is a Robert D. Lyons but wirh different dates than the one listed. He was born 1847 and died before 1897. His wife remarried at that date. He is on the 1880 census. I have not found an obituary for him that helps. I believe that Richard is his father.

Hello. I must commend you on your great contributions. You'll see I have submitted a different maiden name to Sally's page, along with a floral message with some info on it.John had two wives named Sally, and the dates shown here are for the second one,Sally Coates.I'm using the family gedcom that lays this all out. John and this second Sally went on to have four children.I'm awaiting approval on some of their links.Thanks and keep up the good work!!!
