RE: Eliza Ann May Lee # 20312360
Hi Michael,
I edited the listing. Thanks for pointing that out. I recall this cemetery was completely overgrown and the stones were in rough shape. The site is located just off a state road situated on a small hill. My wife is familiar with the area and knew its location. It is unmarked, and only a person living in the area or familiar with the location would find it.

Elizabeth Jane COX
I have found that there are two memorials setup for Elizabeth Jane COX. Is there a way the two can be combined?
It is confusing, since there are several children who are on one and not the other.

I am leaving this message to both of you.

RE: James Riley Williams #137316707
I am confused as I do not have Mr. Williams linked to any parents nor do I have parents attached to him in my tree. Anyone can add an edit and if I am not able to check for new edits, they automatically update. Since I have not researched his parents, I wouldn't know who to link him to. I do have a copy of his death certificate though. Since MO death certificates are easily accessible online, I do not attach them to memorials.

Fannie Williams was married to my Grand Uncle Henry so I have researched the family extensively and have quite a few records and sources added to my tree.

Hello! I belive this woman is my 3rd greatgrandmother. I am decended from her daughter Susan Flourneed Smith Sumners on my fathers side. I have looked for Susan's parents for many years and tho her father is established, I have had no luck with her mother. I know she was raised by her father Bryant Smith and her stepmother Mary. Any light you can shed on this would be so very much appreciated. You may contact me here or at

Thank you for your time.

RE: Bertha Reichel #110944294
Hello - thank you for replying. The easiest thing to do is have the memorials merged so no data is lost (hopefully). I have submitted a request for the two memorials to be merged. Hopefully within 30 days or so, it will be fixed.

Cemetery Walker is not/was not active for many years and thus his memorial sat unattended. This was before the new "edit system" was established which enables corrections to be sent no matter what.

I am no kin to Bertha. If & when I see that the merge has been done I will transfer her to you even though she is not within the required guidelines, if you would like to manage her memorial?

RE: Aunt Lily Cater
My apologies. It appears she may have confused her with Lillie Cater nee Nicholas, one of her grandfather's sisters. Thank you for the information, nonetheless.

Aunt Lily Cater
Hi, just a note to say thanks for the extra information on our family tree. I am currently working on building my tree with the help of my 88-year-old grandmother, who fondly remembers your great grandmother, her "Aunt Lily." She says Aunt Lily had a kaleidoscope that she would let my grandmother play with.

My grandmother, Ruby Christine Wells nee Horton, is the daughter of Lena Horton nee Nicholas, who was the daughter of William Marvin Nicholas, who was your great grandmother's brother.

Georgie Stalcup
My sister and I walked the Bee Cemetery in Johnston Co, OK yesterday. On close inspection of the stone for Georgie it appears her death date is 9/23/1900 and not 9/8/1900. This would make sense if Baby Georgie was born on 9/18/1900. The stone is broken and laying sideways.

Samuel Newton Smith
Hi there: I understand your concern regarding his birthdate, but do you realize the Mary Ann (sister) connected could be incorrect? This sister is not listed on the 1860 census in Giles, Tenn. If she was born in 1857 she would be on this census. Also, the 1900 census, Samuel himself states he was born in 1857. The death cert. states 1857 as well as the cemetery records.
For these reasons, I will leave the birthdate as 1857, but I will make a "note" on the memorial as to the discrepancies in dates.

Napoleon Bonaparte White
Thanks, Michael, on the information on Napoleon B. White. He may be some kin to my husband, whose mother's maiden name was Watson. Her grandmother, Thressia Elcie Tucker Crafts Find A Grave Memorial# 91085529, is buried next to Napoleon White. I understand she was some kin to Napoleon. Her daughter, Beryl Josephine Crafts Watson, was married to Joseph Robert Watson. They are all buried in Westlawn Cemetery in Henryetta. They lived in a small community south of Henryetta called Ryal where Joseph Robert had a general store which he operated until the 1960's I think. My husband may be able to tell us more. I will ask him. Anyway, thanks so much, I will continue to seek information on them.

Thanks Cousin:) Yes, me/Julie is related to the Lawson side of this I guess you & I are very distant cousins! Thanks for all the info you've posted.....Jerry can't believe the first thing I wanted to do when we got home was get online & start filling in info on the Watson side! Ha! But he knows how very addictive this stuff is:) I just connected Sarah with her husband many interesting stories with both sides of this family! Now I'm really intrigued with who was Minerva Pitts' first husband! So I'm digging around.....even though I'm not related to her......:) Do you live in Oklahoma?? One of my sisters and her husband live in Vian, the eastern part of the's HIS hometown......

Well, dang, Michael! Glad to know you're still out there. We first connected, what? Maybe 15 years ago almost?

Great job on Wash Dorman's biography. I'm going to copy it and add it to his file on my family tree. You will be credited, of course. Hope you've gotten all my research info on Allen and the North Carolina connection. It's really a done deal now that I have the official court records to prove everything.

I've slowed down but am still plugging along. Just spent the afternoon doing Dorman research in Twiggs County. I don't think we're ever done.

Keep up the good work.
