Buford Selvey
Dear Don,

I am researching my paternal grandfather's WWI army unit, Company B, 355th Infantry, 89th Division. According to the History and Roster of the 355th Infantry, Buford Selvey also belongs to this unit.

I'm not sure where my project is headed, but I do want to eventually publish something. When I do, may I use your photograph of the grave of Buford Selvey (Find A Grave Memorial# 43493083)?

Thank you,

Bryan Anderson

His name appears on a roster of the 355th Infantry which shows him as being in Company B, 355th Infantry, 89th Division. Glad to help.

Buford Selvey

Due to the poor quality of the headstone, you indicate you are uncertain of the writing on the stone. Buford Selvey was a member of Company B, 355th Infantry, 89th Division. I happen to be researching all I can find regarding this unit, which happens the same company my grandfather served with.

Hope this helps.

The Gramandos at ANC
Thank you for your photo requests for Louis and Kathleen Gramando at Arlington National. You may know that their son, Robert Stephen, is also buried at ANC -- I didn't have time to go to his site the other day, but he is on my list, so there's no need to ask for the photo -- I'll take it this weekend, post the photos, and notify you.

Thank you!

Hi Don, I didn't know Joan passed away until I saw your photo. Could you repost the photo from William's (115514123) onto Joan's (118049808) memorial that I just created? I'm so thankful for your help, as I've been looking for these cousins for several yrs. The two memorials that you created are also cousins. If you transfer them to me I can add information in the coming weeks. J.L.(#47713575)

Repost photo?
I just created a memorial for Elfa Biesemeyer. I didn't know about her until I saw your photo. Could you repost the photo you put on Arthur Biesemeyer's memorial to Elfa's memorial? #117955052

Ollie McDaniel
This is my maternal grandmother's twin sister. After her husband Milton R. Gould died, she moved in with my maternal aunt, Mary Ann and Wayne Goins. I lived with them also as my mother was sick and hospitalized after having a stroke. From the time I was 12 yrs old till I married at almost 19 yrs old, Aunt Ollie (Auntie) and I were almost inseparable. I loved her with all my heart! After she married Thomas McDaniel and he died, I lost her. I visited her several times when she was living in Phoenix, but when she died no one notified me. I have searched and searched for her, and have had a terrible void in my heart not knowing where she was buried. Thank you Don Griffith from the bottom of my heart. I can never thank you enough. By the way, her birthdate was 8/11/1891. She and her twin Dollie were # 9 and 10 of 11 children born to her parents, Tobias Kelly Ragsdale and Nancy Aline Bishop.

RE: Re: Christine LICHTI Griffith
Yes, it can be, but I am not any relation, so do not transfer. I was working on Rev. Lichti's first wife's memorial, that was in a cemetery I was helping update. The memorial was not fighting in the Grace Hill Mennonite Cemetery and I found that she was in the Garden Mennonite Cemetery. In trying to figure out who she was I was linking the information. Now, I am trying to have Find A Grave merge the two memorials and place it in the right cemetery.

Use of Find A Grave Photos
Don, My name is Pallas Houser, you have taken photos for me of some of my loved ones and I am getting ready to write a series of books on the Knight family and they will not be sold or no profit this is for family entertainment only and some of my family do not have computers or are able to get out to the cemeteries and I was hoping that you would allow me to use some of the pictures in my books. I will have one entire book on credits giving to people that have helped me with my wonderful experience so credit will also be given. If you would allow me to do this it would surely be appreciated.
