Roger Lee Smith is my Dad. I would like to manage his memorial. It would be an honor for me to manage his memorial, so I am requesting a transfer.

Thank you!

Adam Ickes
Pe Ell Cemetery. I see you photographed his grave in 2012. I am looking for his wife's burial. Her name is Ida Belle Ickes born 6 Jan 1858 died 23 Jun 1932. Is her grave near his? I cannot read the writing below the dates on his stone. Is her name there or is that a statement. I would appreciate any help you can give me. Laurie

Thanks again. Can't wait to try. Hopefully, this weekend. I, also, belong to Graphic Stock so I can also get nice graphics from them. Don't worry I belong to them and pay for them. Therefore, I can use them for Find a Grave. Linda Anna

RE: 22084093
If you "Begin New Search", type 22084093 into the memorial box and hit enter, it should bring up a Mrs. Hauver. For proof/evidence, google Tahoma Cemetery Yakima and select their website. It has a search function off to the right. It will give you her plot info in Yakima. It is a little confusing to have a Tahoma Cemetery and a Tahoma National Cemetery in the same state. I've seen this a dozen times or so. Thanks for the help cleaning this up.

I have the same issue with this person. This should also by Tahoma Yakima with a plot of "Section A Block 70 Lot 5". Thank you.

I sent some edits for this memorial that may seem questionable to you. Though her placard mentions both Hall and Karow, it does appear to be hyphenated. I included the hyphenated named because that is what is in the VA database for national cemeteries. I also updated the birth and death dates. Thanks.

I would hope that you could make an exception in this case. My mother (Rogers' sister) died when I was 7 years old and my grandparents (Rogers' parent's) raised me. Roger and I were raised more like a brother and sister since there is only 8 years difference in our age. Roger and I have spent holidays, vacations and all other family events together just like a brother and sister would and both have lived in Puyallup all of our lives. Sometimes family relationships can be far more complex than saying that Roger does not fit the profile of a close enough relation to me. I have lots of genealogical information and pictures that I can add to Rogers memorial that would help future researchers. I just wanted you to know a little bit more about my situation and hope that you would understand why it would be such a privilege to maintain this memorial.
Thank you for reconsidering this transfer.

Pauline Monroe grave marker
Hi My name is Yvonne Paull, I came across your photograph of my maternal grandmothers grave marker as I was doing some research. I have not been to her grave sight in a number of years but plan to visit soon to see this marker with my own eyes. for as long as I can recall her grave was marked with a small concrete stone long since worn away. She is buried with her son William (Billy) can you tell me were you actually there and saw this marker in your photograph and are you some how related to my family. I look forward to your response and I will follow up as soon as I am able to get to the cemetery myself.
Best Regards,

Hans Froland
I saw your photo on Hans Froland born from 1889 to 1970. I have a relative Hans Olai Svendsen Frĝland born in Norway/Skjold/Rogaland 1889-07-31, emigrated to the U.S, do not know when exact, but, last name and year of birth match well with your information. Most people with names containing ĝ as in "Frĝland" name was changed to just "Froland."
I live in Sweden and my father came from Norway, so I have a great interest of all those who emigrated to the United States. I have information in my database that has not yet been published on my web site. You can visit my page and there you will find my family tree

Is it the right person so I have quite a lot of information to you.

Hi Helen,

I was so touched to get your message! Yes, I finally managed to sponsor Joshua's baby brother. I have yet to actually find the plot itself(J says he could find it blindfolded, but he can't bear to bring himself out there) and the 'streets' aren't too well marked, so I will have to find a day to go back out there when the office is open, and bring him some real flowers - but thanks to you, he at least has virtual ones and can be 'visited' still. :)

I see that you have left flowers for your great grandmother, Eliza Neely Stoy. I am also a Stoy.
