|Carlton Smail||RE: Carlton's in Kansas|
Thank you George, I really appreciate any help collecting photos and things in my Carlton Family. No problem time-wise. I've learned over time in researching, patience's in a virtue. Carlton Smail

|Carlton Smail||Carlton's in Kansas|
Hi George, I am a Gr.Gr.Grandson of Franklin S. Carlton of Derby, Ks.s' brother Leander P. Carlton who settled around Udall, Ks. where I grew up. I wonder what Carlton photos you might have and would consider sharing with me Carlton Smail. My e-mail is on my member page. I spoke to Mary and Debbie Avenell sometime before Mary passed in 2007. They said a man who lived over on Rock Road might have some Carlton photos and I thought that might be you, as you are a descendant of Mary (Carlton) Craig's husband Charles. Thank you, hope to hear from you.

Thanks for attempting to fulfill the photo request, but especially for making the extra effort to find out that he was cremated but not buried there.
I am in the process of locating all USS Indianapolis survivors who have passed away and making sure they have a memorial on Findagrave.

|B Paradee||J. Dean Rickman Memorial #39858624|
In doing family research, I found that Mr. J. Dean Rickman, Memorial #39858624, passed away on June 16, 2012. His obituary is located at: http://www.downingandlahey.com/memsol.cgi?user_id=651866. I thought you might want to add his date of death to his memorial.
Thanks for your work in doing memorials. They helped me find info on this distant branch of the family tree. Brenda

Thanks George!! This is great. I can't actually see the name POND on the stones. And, the Martha M. stone has dates that aren't what I have for their daughter. I have 1861-1942, and the 1942 comes from the cemetery's online records. Does it really look as if Martha M. belongs to these parents?
Thanks again for the pix!!

Thank you for your email today. I was looking at Mrs. McAlister's memorial and it has her picture (she was beautiful!), the entrance to Saint John in the Wilderness Cemetery photo and her monument photo. Is there something else I can do for you?
I think we are going to have a "normal" winter this year. It hasn't been too bad the last few years so we are spoiled. You have family here in MN? I'll bet you are in a warm climate!
Best wishes for a New Year.
