RE: Esther Muriel
Hi! I never knew of Esther having a nickname, I can tell you though, she was a really nice lady!

Telling the church ladies to "DO AS THEY SAW FIT" = genteel manner of telling them to shove it.

Ah, what a wild one :)

Thank you.

Shelia Carter
Roy Mannon
Your correction for Roy Mannon was a change of birhtdate from Apr 3, 1904 to May 7, 1901. I went to the memorial and noticed that the date on the tombstone is Apr 6, 1924.
I declined the correction because of the tombstone date. Please check the date on the tombstone.
Isn't that date Ap. 6, 1924? These old tombstones are hard to read.

On Findagrave it states that Raymond and John are half siblings and I don't believe that is correct so I was wondering where that information came from and I'm hoping you can help me find out. Thanks for your help.

Iowa Owl
Jubal Dabney at Inskeep Cemetery
I made a trip to Inskeep Cemetery today, but could not find Jubal Dabney's gravestone. There are many gravestone in the cemetery that are unreadable due to weathering or to being broken. I think this may be the case with the stone you are looking for. I will leave your photo request as it is; maybe someone else will have better luck than I did. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
Happy Memorial Day.

RE: Maxine Delilah
(1) Please delete father link to Samuel "Elmer" Perry.

(2) Please add bio:

Maxine Delilah is the daughter of Melvin "Pete" Hixson and his first wife, Dessa M. Davis. Both were natives of Logan Co., Arkansas. Their parents removed to Oklahoma where the couple married about 1920 in Muskogee County. Also born of this union was a son, John "Jerry" Calvin Hixson. Maxine and her brother, Jerry, are the grandchildren of Ephraim Severe Hixson and his wife Eliza S. McEachorn, and Frank D. Davis and his wife Luvenia T. Biggs.

After the death of her mother, Maxine's father married the widow Minnie Mae (Harris) Perry about 1935 in Muskogee Co., Oklahoma. Minnie was the widow of Samuel "Elmer" Perry, who died in 1927.

RE: Maxine Delilah
Billye, it is my understanding from Find A Grave rules that if you have management rights, as you do, you are able to update and therefore correct the errors. I would appreciate correction of Maxine's father. Let me know if I need to re-send you that data. Thank you, Connie Blackwell

Toms River, Ocean County
Just want to let you know that Ocean County did not exist back in the 1700's. Ocean County did not come into existence until February 15, 1850. Until that date it was part of Monmouth County.
