Felix Allen
Im working on my family tree and come across a conundrum. Find A Grave Memorial # 31510365, is there a stone or cemetery record that shows his (Felix Allen) Birth: Aug. 11, 1810 and Death: Dec. 16, 1878 ?
His wife Martha J Skinner married my 3rd great grandpa Mar 23,1878 in Jacksboro, Campbell, Tennessee. But Felix didn't die till December 1878 ? Also it seems odd to have a 27 year difference in age between Felix and Martha?
Thanks for your time,
Belinda

Peyton Thomas Cemetery
There have been several duplications for the Marquess family that I noticed while doing some 'cleaning' today. You might want to check these and contact the person making the duplicates and ask for their removal. (Yours seem to be earlier that hers)

Thank you so much for adding these memorials....surely does help as we 'chase' these ancestors.

He died on 06 October 2004 at his home in Evansvlle, Randolph County, Illinois.

William and Ruth Price
Mr. Smith,
Would you consider transferring William E. and Ruth Price to me? Mrs. Price was my Great Aunt. I have created a memorial for them but I believe I have listed the wrong cemetery and if you will transfer their memorials to me, I will delete mine but add the pictures I have posted. I will also link Mrs. Price to her parents (my great grandparents).
Thanks for the consideration,
Barry Simich 48486064

George S. Allen - correction
I ran across a discrepancy while following up on some information on George Suggs Allen's daughter Thursa/Thurdy/Theresa.

I see you have George S(uggs) Allen as buried in the House cemetery in Linton, Trigg Co., KY, but you have noted that neither he nor his wife "Phareby Russell Allen" have headstones. I believe this is because this couple is not buried at this cemetery, but rather they are buried (with headstones and the same birth/death dates) at the Allen cemetery in Cheatham County, TN. Here is the findagrave link for this information: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSln=ALLE&GSpartial=1&GSbyrel=all&GSst=45&GScntry=4&GSsr=2281&GRid=42214937&

Happy Hunting.

Hello Chuck,

I visited the Starkie Thomas Cemetery with family yesterday, and took some photos. I noticed that the memorial you created for "John Harvey Thomas" (31358488) seems to be for Jonathan Harvey Thomas, so I requested an edit. I appreciate your creating the memorial!

Sincerely,

Dorothy Thomas McElrath

Find A Grave Member
Trigg County Cemetery's
Hello. I was wondering if you're familiar with these two cemeteries, both in Trigg County - Peyton Thomas & Bethel United Methodist? I'm looking for a way to contact their offices to see if Homer Louis "Boots" Randolph and his wife, Carolyn "Dee" Randolph are buried at either one. I can't seem to find a phone number for either one and was wondering if you might have that info or could point me in the right direction. (They're both listed here on Find A Grave but with no contact or even mapping info.)

Mr. Randolph's parents are in Peyton Thomas and his sister is buried in Bethel, so there's a possibility. I don't know if you're familiar with who he was, and pardon me if you are, but he was a famous Saxophonist, most known for his song, "Yakety Sax". He's listed here on Find A Grave but as a burial - unknown location and I'm hoping to fix that.

Any help you can offer would be gratefully appreciated and if not, I thank you for your time.

Best regards,
Emily E. Smith

Chuck, I've found a conflicting posting for subject ancestors, including photos of their headstones in the Allen Cemetery in Cheatham County, Tennessee, at Memorial Numbers 42214937 and 42214939. I wonder if you can tell me whether the information posted for these people in your memorial Numbers 31510409 and 31510391, shown in the House Cemetery, Linton, Trigg County, Kentucky, was obtained from visiting that cemetery or from other research you've done on the family. If from other research, I'd appreciate knowing your sources. Thanks so much for the valuable work you do.

Addie Marquess
Hello Chuck,
While researching a Marquess line I came upon a full Cemetery of duplicates. Your submissions are all correct and I sent this message to the person who submitted the wrong Cemetery Name. Just thought you may wish to know about it in case the other Cemetery was not removed. You may have to contact Find A Grave to correct the problem. So many Contributors have blocked messages and refuse to make any corrections. As has this person.
Best Wishes, Lettie

My suggestion to Contributor:
-------------------------
Correction of Cemetery Misspelled Name.
Peyton not Payton.
Please move submissions to the correct Cemetery.

Burial:
Peyton Thomas Cemetery
Donaldson
Trigg County
Kentucky, USA

Please Remove
