RE: L.V. Gunn
I'm sorry to hear about your condition, lot of that going around.
You are technically correct, I did not specify the number of generations removed. I didn't think it would matter since it is confusing to some folks. I could spend the next 6 months correcting them....I will include that number from now on.
I have some Moore's in my tree, have you had a DNA test?
Regards,
Bill

This is another case of duplicate memorials ... the following link is to the first one created; isn't there a way to merge the two so that no information is lost? I have additional info to request on either/both, but not sure what to do?

RE: L.V. Gunn
You don't hold much faith in your fellow Find a Graver, do you? I'm almost insulted by what you are implying, but this is Find a Grave, and normal rules of polite conversation don't apply.
Lula V (Victoria?) Gunn, daughter of Jesse and Lucy J Gunn, all from Georgia.
Did you read my profile? I didn't make up those men listed in my virtual cemeteries.
My cousins are very easy to prove, just look at my father's memorial, and follow it back to about 1650. The Gunns were fairly prolific, and I have proven cousins in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Ireland, England, Germany, UK and all over the states.
ps Thanks for the transfers, I will take care of them and you will always be the originator, even if they don't mean anything to you.

Peace and Prosperity.
Bill

Hello,
I'm hoping you can clear up some confusion as to this memorial. Is his name Jack Johnson Wilson or John Jackson Wilson? I'm finding information for the latter.
Thanks!
Teresa

I have contacted the researcher for documentation on her ( Hester's ) middle name of Vasetine . I can document that it is a V. I will submit documentation for the change when I submit the edit but please disregard Vasetine until I do. Thank you for the work you do on Find A Grave

53071989 Hester V ( Vasetine ) Cash Meaders
The middle name for Hester is Vasetine . On the 1880 census age1 listed as Hester V. Cashu in Center Hill Habersham , Georgia , 1900 census in Mount Airy , Habersham , Georgia and after her marriage to Henry Davis Meader her middle initial of V for Vasetine can be found on the 1910 census record in Fair Play , Habersham , Georgia.
You declined my edit to add Vasetine for her middle name.
My CASH family also came from Habersham County.
A CASH Family genealogist that I trust lists her name as Vasetine as do several CASH family trees
Would you please reconsider adding her middle name

M R
Lawrence M. Green #4618211
The parents and spouse of the above subject are incorrect. He was the son of Tipton John Green (#28855011) and Loraine Mae Nunn(#2855013). Leita Rae ?) was not his wife. He was incorrectly entered into ancestry.com by several members who probably just copied each others work. He is my 2nd cousin 1X removed.

Please correct your information on Find A Grave. Thanks!

Jones Cemetery Callahan florida
You have a Ollie W. Cameron listed in that cemetery and I am trying to find his wife. His Daughter Find A Grave Memorial# 46557104 is also listed in that cemetery. I have submitted them to be linked. But on Find A Grave Memorial# 46557207 is Ollie the headstone that has Cameron on it looks like it could be the headstone for 2 people and I am hopeful it has his wife Nellie M Salmon Cameron name on it.
Do you know anything about this headstone?

Sorry got in a hurry at work and did not put all info on there. Here is the info. His name Clarence Oliver Reichert. Find a grave number 60078665. Two photo's on his memorial. 1 is him, hiself, and daughter. 2 is him, and 2 boys. His dauther Olivia Kay, says she doesn't know who 2 boys are and the question is who are the 2 boys. She would also like to know where you got pictures, who they are,and are you family. She was born in 1944 and had never seen these pictures before.

If you want to see how the church looked in 1920, you might look for this book in a library:

The Centennial Anniversary of Mt. Pleasant Methodist Church, Oglethorpe County, Ga., organized 1820, compiled by the Rev. Clement C. Cary, in 1920.

It documents the history of the congregation and the charter members. I'm related to most of the charter members.

Have you thought of taking 4 or 5 more photos of the cemetery and submitting them as "cemetery photos" because most of the ones posted show few markers. I think they help document how the cemetery looks in the present.
Best,
TB Willis

Thanks for your message.
If you will click on my photo of Mt. Pleasant Church you will see I took it in 1987. I believe that church structure is still present behind all the newer additions!
I corresponded with Allene Hewell who served as church historian years ago. She is buried at the cemetery now.
Best,
TB Willis

William Lemuel Cantelou 1835-1883
Hello!

I have William in my family tree. My connection is through his brother Louis Harrison cantelou (1841-1911). I loved reading the information about them on your memorial!!

I was wondering if you had any idea where their parents Louis Marshall Cantelou (1815-1849) and Epsey BOWDEN Cantelou were buried.

I'd love to hear more about this family and what you have found. I've gotten info for Lemuel Cantelou (1787-1827) and Louis Cantelou (1756-1818) online with ancestry.com.

Thank you for your time!
