RE: Clara Kemp
You are welcome. It is not that far away for me at all. Glad to help. Do you still need a photo?

Thanks

Tim

Rosemary Niehus
Hi, I have set up a page for Baby Boy Niehus that is sharing Rosemary's tombstone. I put a photo request in for him. I would like to know if you would add your photo to his page # 95391453.
Thank you,
Rose Mary Mullane

Katherine Deitermann Niehus
Hi,
I have added her parents and fixed her maiden name. Since you have added photos I would like to know if you are related to the Niehus or Deitermann family? I have been working on several sides of my family tree. My sister, Janice, married Richard Rolfes. I started tracing Rolfes and found a Rita Rolfes married to a Walter Niehus and traced back to his parents and siblings. I want to thank you for your work in making the connections. I will search and see if I can find any obituaries to send to you to add to their pages.

His father was not listed on the stone but may be buried there. You could check with the cemetery or church to see about the burial records. Georgea

KETTMANN
Hi,
Well Thank You for your message. You have solved one of my little mysteries. The four small stones are for HENRY, THEODOR, FATHER and MOTHER. So thanks to you I now know that FATHER is for Bernard and Mother is for his wife. But I don't have her name. By chance do you???

As you figured out, when I can I enter one large photo for the family grouping and then the individual ones.
Thank You Thomas

I forgot to mention that I added a obituary for Jacob Freyborg. I have the original scanned image of the obit if you would like it.

Folks in Worthington Memory Gardens
You are entirely welcome. By the way, the coowner, Bertha, who keeps office hours on site is extremely helpful. I've worked in about 20 cemeteries now taking Find a Grave pictures and she is the most organized and helpful person I've talked to.

Kirpes and Tritz families
I posted the requests that you had, but I have more from those families. I have 2 Annas, Maggie and Peter Kirpes (all on the same stone), Peter and Catherine Kirpes, Johannes, Johann and Maria Tritz. Also, there is no name on the cross next to Peter Kirpes, but it's close enought to their stone that I would assume it was either part of Peter's original memorial or a family member. As you will see in Catherine's photo, I had to angle around the cross to get a photo of her side.

Tombstone in Geddes SD
Good Day,

We live in Illinois, but have parents buried in the Geddes Cemetery. We will be visiting the cemetery this coming spring (after the snow melts) and I would be glad to try to find the sites and take a photograph for you. I will try to find out from St. Ann's Church if they have records of these folks. Let me know if I can be of further assistance. ... Jack

Too bad I didnt know that, I drove right by Garden of Memories on the way. Garden of Memories is located west of Worthington a couple of miles. It would be a little harder to search as all of stones are flat. So if you could get a location in the cemetery that would be helpful.

Hi Mona....

Haven't heard a word from the grandaughter. I have spoken with the VA in DC. They inform me that they have no record of Kenneth, which means that no grave marker was ever requested. They suggest that someone places a request for one. The information on how to request one is on the VA website [ www.cem.va.gov ]and what is needed regarding his military service.

I am going to unclaim Elizabeth and then report the lack of grave marker so it can drop off the list until a marker is in place. OR I can put up a picture of gravesite without the marker.

A small problem has arisen. First, I have located the gravesite and confirmed that Louis, Elizabeth and Kenneth are located there. However, there is no marker. In looking into the records, there was suppose to be a VA marker. I saw the drawing of it.

On Monday, the grounds crew will probe the gravesite to see if, for some reason, it has sunk or was covered over. I probably won't get the results until Tuesday. If the results are negative, the next step will be to contact the VA to see if their records indicate that the marker was ever delivered or if there was a problem. The VA probably is going to want a family member to do the contacting. The records show that the contact person for the gravesite is Duane. Is he still around?

If they locate the marker, they will uncover it and let me know and I'll go out and take the photo.

Just to let you know, your request was sent to me, but by the time I went to "claim" your request, someone else had claimed it. If they do not follow through, just let me know and I can pop over and get it.

Blanche Wood
Your dates are correct. I didn't realize my date indicator was on. Sorry about that. The other Blanche, 1882-1886 was daughter of F M and Viola. Apparently they lost other children as the other stone had no names on it. They were different stones. I assumed all the Wood's were related since they were all in the same block 20. Several of the photos were easier to read than the actual stones, the sun was very bright and made it difficult. Glad to help out. Let me know if there is anything else.

Easter Wood Crout
I'm sorry, but I was unable to locate the stone for Easter. It was reportedly in the same block with the Wood graves but it was not to be found. The cemetery attendant suggested that perhaps there is not a stone for her. I will be happy to delete the Wood memorials from my site at your request. Please note my email.

Freyborg Question
The Freyborg surname is unfamiliar to me, but I did find this information on the Minnesota Historical Society webpage (MNHS.ORG). It would appear that Henry had a brother Jacob. Good luck with your search.
