I don't know where to look ?? You did not givev me a Find A Grave Memorial ##...and I looked and see she is not on your own management list.....You seem to have misspelled the name, because I tried to find it on Find A Grave, and could not do so....If you send me the number of the memorial, I will look at it

RE: Polly and Eli Kennedy
Just emailed it to you. :)

RE: Polly and Eli Kennedy
Thank you for the transfer! I get to Eli and Polly through their daughter Octavia, who married her 1st cousin, John McClanahan-Strother Browning. Their daughter, Mattie, married William Ambrose Massie. William and Mattie's daughter, Laura, is my grandmother.

Back in the late 1980s, the wife of one of the Massie descendants published a very extensive history of the Massie-Browning families. I would be happy to email a pdf of that to you if you would like to have it for your research. The full book also has a history of her Hamilton-McCurdy line.

Eli Kennedy Graveyard

We did find the Eli Kennedy Graveyard and I have started uploading information. I sent an edit on the transcription for Josephine Catherine Smith's headstone. I am not sure I send the correct quote from the stone. . . I have been examining it using photoshop and I am sure that it is the following quote:

"Forget me not is all I ask, one simple boon of thee, and let it be an easy task to sometimes think of me.

Eli Kennedy Graveyard

We are attempting to find the Eli Kennedy Graveyard to research our Kennedy ancestors. We cannot seem to find it following the directions on the page. . . Since you have taken photographs at the cemetery, could you reply with further directions (such as the distance from Paris, KY). We have traveled to Paris, KY from Utah/Missouri.

Thank you

Jerome Pratt
Hi, Katherine - Just catching up on things.
I visited West Aurora Cemetery on July 4th, found Katie's stone, but no evidence of Jerome, or her other husband, John Cullen. There were two burials directly south of her, but the names didn't seem to be related (I should've photographed them, but wasn't thinking).

No problem, let me know if you want the memorial for Ed's wife transferred. I couldn't find another headstone for the other Catherine but I'm going to check again.

RE: Mary Wilkie Wright Stone
I've been adding a lot of names to Jonesville, and getting the photos as I have a chance to. I have good data, as I took a detailed list several years ago. But the stones usually require some cleaning to get a good shot; and waiting for good light. I didn't touch Mary or John Wright's stones; they are in pretty dire shape. They are very thick, but made of a particularly soft marble that has degraded badly. Sure wish I had found Lucy! There are still piles of stones here and there, although I went through them pretty thoroughly when I did the inventory.
Best regards,

RE: James Cullen, in St Patrick
This past Friday, I was at St. Patrick's Cemetery & right next to where James & John Cullen are buried, there isn't any Mary Ann Baker buried there.
There is, however, a Garton gravestone.
Perhaps Mary Ann Baker doesn't have a stone or if there was a stone, it has since been buried by the sod.
Do you know, for certain, that Mary Ann Baker is buried at St. Patrick's in Adell?

James Cullen, in St Patrick
James Cullen now has a grave photo, in his memorial.

We weren't able to find Mary Baker; but then, we haven't seen everyone in there, yet, so we may run across her in another trip. Will let you know if/when we find her.
