I sent a request some time ago to link Mary Frances Pierce to her husband Vaughn Pierce and it has not been processed as yet. Mary Frances Pierce was my first cousin and I knew her and Vaughn very well as I did their boys. If there is a reason it has not been processed, please let me know. Thank you. Just trying to get all the family connected.

|Dan Stropes||Abigail Stropes Eans|
Hello Helen, I am requesting transfer of the memorial of Abigail Stropes Eans to me. I am researching the Stropes surname in Southwest Indiana and would like to update this and other Stropes-related memorials with family links, obits, spouses, and bios I've found. My Find A Grave volunteer number is #46931424.
As an aside, I am grateful to Susan Haldeman for her past Find A Grave work - she transferred a number of Stropes memorials in the Bloomfield area to me several years ago. Regards, Dan Stropes

|sbarn||Lucy Jane Cockrum|
I am a descendant of (Lucy) Jane Cockrum Harrison Hastings. You stated that you had inherited a lot of information from your grandmother.
Would you have any information about Jane or her husband Green Hastings? They married in Pike County Indiana in 1819. She died in Water Valley Miss. just about nine days difference with her sister Rachel Cockrum.
A bible notation stated she died at the "mouth of the Coldwater Mississippi".
Any information would be helpful. I cannot find an actual grave in any records.

Thank you so much Helen! I can wait until you get back. Do have a question..are there two memorials for Sig Rogers? #11577441 and #11821943. Only date difference is birth month. If you would like fewer memorials to manage, I would be glad to accept and add information and pictures to more of my Rogers relatives. In Grandview Cemetery (mostly) along with my great and great-great grandparents are my great-Aunts and Uncles. They are Roxie Rogers Bridges #15800571, Delia #11870104 and her husband Mack Duke #118701104, Verna Rogers Henry #11821946, Ross J.Rogers #11821945, Dora Rogers Vest #11704516 and her husband James Vest #11704555. PS Where did Susan find the wonderful pictures of Sig and Ellen Rogers? I would like to add those pictures to my family tree. Thanks again! Now I have to continue sorting and organizing the 40 or so boxes of genealogy and family letters that my mother collected! Jeri

Thank you for all your contributions to FindaGrave.
Find A Grave Memorial# 36242479 for my Grandmother Bertie A Owen Jeffries has her listed as her own child, AND her children, Harvey Price Jeffries (1925 - 1986) and Clifford Loren Jeffries (1935 - 1994) are listed as her siblings. Can you please fix this? Thank you.

Hi Helen, I see you have a memorial for John E. Hutson. This is the same person. It shows the spelling Hutson on his Civil War records, but he is married to Rebecca Hudson. I will delete my memorial for Hudson. Would you know which spelling is correct ? Records show both spellings.

I am Jackie Rogers, I am a 3rd cousin, 3x removed of James M. Hudson(1876-1950) and I am also related through his 2nd wife Victoria Teneyck whom he married 16 June 1914. She is a sister of Fredrick who is the husband of a 1st cousin 3 times removed. James Mordecai Hudson, I am related through his mother Amanda Hatfield. They all lived and died in Greene Co., Indiana. Are you related?

|bcullisi1||John E Hudson|
Hi Helen, I created a memorial for John E. Hudson #145447548, husband of Rebecca Meredith. His obituary shows he was buried in Bloomfield Cemetery, Indiana. I am not familiar with the cemetery's in Indiana and could not find Bloomfield Cemetery in Greene County. He appeared to spend his entire life in Greene County. His wife Rebecca is in Grand View Cemetery and this is where I placed John's. John was in the Civil War and should have a marker that reads J.E. Hudson. Would you have any information on a Bloomfield Cemetery in Greene County.

I am working on Mitchell City cemetery and I just came to Anthony Greathouse's gravestone. See memorial 144123989. If you want to change your memorial (38240800) to Mitchell City cemetery, I will reupload the gravestone image and delete my memorial.

|C. Smith||Gladys M. Jones Gennett|
The heading on Find A Grave lists her last name as Genett. Gladys's marriage record lists her last name spelled as Gennett and so does her obit. Would it be possible to change the spelling? Thank you so much. C. Smith

May I please ask where you got her full name?
She was a Price, her mother was a Tetrick.
Her parents were married when she was born.
Thank you for this Find A Grave posting.
Is she a direct line of yours?
