Lula A. Bragg Brooking
Note:
"There is a problem with dates here. If Lula Ann Bragg Brooking died in March of 1896 she could not be the mother of child born in Jun of 1896."

Her last child was born Jun 1895 according to the 1900 census

Thanks so much for the info of burial location next to Robert. Could be her son. That makes my info a little cloudy, alot more research is required. I really appreciate all your help,
Shirley

Ballard, Estelle
The graves you did find are not related to Estelle (directly); they could be sisters, brothers, aunts, etc. I certainly appreciate the time and effort you put into searching for her grave. I'm just sorry it couldn't be located.
But, thank you so much for trying,
Shirley

RE: Z D Alexander
Hello Ms. Shackelford. Thank you so much for your show of concern about my uncle (Z. D. Alexander) grave marker. You are absolutely correct! He should have a permanent marker, but as a niece, my hands are tied. I can only do so much. He has a wife we (the family) have inquired as to placing a Veterans marker on his grave but to no avail. I will reach out to her once again with the info you have provided and see what I can do. Again, thank you very much.
Respectfully,

Kimberly

RE: Mildred Ratliff photo request
Hi Pam. I am proud of you for finding Mildred's gravestone. It seems unusual for it to read "Small" but I have seen this before.

Keep up the good work!

Dale
RE: Mildred Ratliff photo request
Hi Pam,

Sorry for the slow reply.

Mildred was the wife of William Arthur Ratliff. He is buried in Olton and there is a bare lot next to him. However, Mildred died 23 years later and so could have been buried elsewhere even though someone added her to the Olton cemetery.

Bessie was the wife of William Arthur Ratliff's brother and is buried at Olton.

I would not want you to spent time looking if the caretaker knows she is not buried there. I will do some more research.

Thanks for contacting me with the information.

Keep up the good work!

Dale
