Your listing in Petty Cemetery for female with birth date of Dec 20, 1828 and death date Mar 2, 1891 I think could possibly be Sara A. Defoe. Hickman County Cemetery Records lists her born Dec 20, 1824, couldn't read death date, wife of W.M., dau of A.C. and Elizabeth Richmond. In your pic of marker I can make out Richmond. I think death date reads Apr 20, 1891. What do you think?

I don't know how to handle the last name deal but, sent edits for the bio., date of death, and family links.
Thanks for all that you do!
I'll delete my memorial, in about a week when I'm sure no one else has tried to create one.

I see you have made several memorials for my family.
I was wondering if you could please link Joseph Edward "Poss" Adams (# 27767936) with his parents, Homer Henry Adams (# 27767864) and Ora Elizabeth Jackson (# 27767864). Also his brother Floyd. (# 30027318).
Also on Homer Henry Adams his birthday is:
17 September 1896.
I was wondering if you had any relation to the Adams line as well?

|S. J. Adams||Vergie Moore memorial|
I just submitted Vergie Williams Moore's parents, so that all their children will be connected to them.
Uncle Joe was my grandmother's brother (I never knew him), but my folks would often go visit Aunt Mattie and Vera and Gilbert, and I would go along.
Thank you for the time you devote to Find A Grave.

Thank you very much for transferring these memorials to me-and for accepting my edit requests. Thanks also for your photos of their gravestones. We live far from Tennessee and would not otherwise have seen Aunt Patti and Uncle Clifford's resting places.

|Penny Nelson||D.M.N. tombstone|
Back on a VERY windy, cold day (ice crystals were growing up from the ground!) in January, 1985, during a trip from Ohio to Florida, I stopped (along with my husband) in the Gray Barnes Cemetery because I knew that my husband's GG Grandfather, David Morgan Nelson, had died in Tennesse Ridge sometime between 1910 and 1920. We had been told by his now deceased granddaughter that "Grandpa passed away while living there [with daughter, Annie Nelson Chandler] and was buried in a small cemetery in Tennessee Ridge."
When my husband and I had previously visited the Houston County Courthouse during the summer of 1983, they told us that they had recently had a major flood and had lost all of the records that would have pinpointed David Morgan Nelson's exact death date. The only possible clue we had that we'd found the right location of his burial was that tombstone marked "D.M.N." - David Morgan Nelson perhaps? We photographed it at that time - now over 32 years ago.
David's granddaughter told us in a letter that his wife, Lydia, had wanted to be buried next to him, but when she died a few years later, the roads were covered with ice and her family buried her in Dover instead.
Without actual cemetery records (Did anyone keep a record of burials in GrayBarnes?), there is no way to prove that that mysterious tombstone is a 70+ year old NELSON or a NYMAN buried next to a 10-day old infant by the same name, but I just wanted to give you an alternative. I wonder if you might include this possible burial this in your comments on Find A Grave Memorial# 45293021.

Could you please connect Jeffery Wayne Lancaster as a son to Lonnie Douglas and Ida Sowell Lancaster.
The other son in the cemetery is Lonnie Douglas Lancaster Jr. 1955 - 1955.
Jeff passed away on Dec. 14, 2016. When someone puts up a tombstone I'll get a photo of it and post it.
Thanks in advance.
