I found H.D. Kirtland grave and will be filling your request. I have already added both his wives (Mahalo and Eleanor). I found one more Kirtland grave but can't read the name. I am going to mess with the picture and see if I can see the dates better.

I started doing the 3 different photos so that if you ever visit out here, you'll have reference points to find the grave.

|Bill Bates||Correcting the Cemetery|
Do you know how to change a memorial from the wrong cemetery (e.g., Forest) to the correct cemetery (e.g., St. Mary's) without having to re-create the entire memorial? It's pretty easy.
Click on [Edit] above the cemetery name.
Click on "cemetery burial."
Type "Saint Mary" and indicate US/Iowa/Mahaska.
Select Saint Mary's of Oskaloosa, and save the changes.
If you need any more help in correcting your 3 burials, just let me know. Thanks.

|Kevin Finch||Phillip Montagna|
Hello again Joe
I went to the cemetery today and found that the cemetery had not yet cleaned it up.. I dug out his marker, and used a stiff brush in an attempt to clean it up. I am not excited about how it looks, but I am posting the picture anyway. I have notified the cemetery again. I will keep checking, and when it is properly cleaned I will delete this photo, and post the better one.

I fulfilled your request for Laura Montagna this morning. However, I was unable to fulfill your request for Phillip. His marker is buried under about 2 inches of dirt, as a result of a mudslide that occurred after a large rainstorm, a month or so ago. I have put in a request with the cemetery, to uncover and clean the marker. In the past, they have done this within a couple of days of my request. I will return early next week, and try again.

|Kathy ||Solomon Vance|
While Solomon was son of John and nancy Vance, he was not the son of Nancy Bradley Vance, she was married to JOseph. Solomon's brother Robert was my great, great, great grandfather. Please correct the comment with the picture. thank you.

I see you took the time to add Alford's death cert to his memorial. You may be interested in this memorial as well. I could not leave flowers, but did leave a picture, with links to the documentary and article in the caption.

Joseph Brooks as you know was married to Nancy Boice. Can you tell me where Nancy is buried? Was she buried in the same cemetery that Joseph buried? If you know please leave me a message or you can e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Hi Joe, The GPS coordinates for Home Oaks Cemetery place it in Antioch, not Lake Villa. Do you know which is correct?
With kind regards,
