Sue King
Spouse for Ida Price
I think Ida is buried next to her daughter from her marriage to John Bond, not a spouse. Can the note be changed?

RE: James Frank Benton
I am working on my mothers family tree. James Frank Benton is connected to my mother through a daughter with his first wife Mary Elvira. Elizabeth married John Asbury Culpepper. Culpepper goes to Jones which goes to Saunders which is my grandfathers father and then of course my grandfather and my mother. The tree I found that has Jeremiah Benton as James' father has a woman named Charity Sicily Parker as his mother. You may be able to see what I have here

James Frank Benton
Hi! I saw your information listed on his page and I was hoping you could answer a question for me. I have him listed as my mothers 4th great grandfather and I was working on adding his parents but I have come across trees that have James' parents listed as Edmond Benton (1779-1846)and Nancy (1782-1855)and another tree has his parents listed as Jeremiah Benton (1751-1819) Charity Sicily Parker (1775-1870. I was wondering if you had any information on that. Thank you very much!

photo request Springer Ok
I will be glad to go back out to the cemetery and try to get the photo for you. I'm sorry to say that it is kind of hectic around here for me right now as real life is interfering with my hobby in a big way...plus it is too cold, at least for me, to be out in a cemetery right now. But as soon as things slow down and warm up I will head to Springer to get the photos.

Thanks for understanding and I promise to get back out there as soon as I can. Should you find someone else that will be quicker I would appreciate a heads up because Springer is about 45 miles from home. Thanks so much.

Cheers,
Sally

Bwnton Family - Restlawn, El Paso, TX
Hello Tricia,

You have placed a photo request for Claudius Benton at the Restlawn Cemetery her in El Paso, TX. In your note you are also requesting a photo of his wife, Lockie Lee's marler also. But I noticed that you did not place an actual photo request. If you would not mind doing so.

Both Claudius and Lockie are buried with their daughter and her husband. If you would like a photo of their markers also, go ahead and place a photo request for them also. The daughter's name was Katherine Opal Sweeney and her husband was Roy Milton Sweeney.

Thank you - Laurel

As it looks now, it is literally just grass. Nothing that you can see there. I had a map of the plots and I went to it and its just yellow grass there - other plots around it. Is that ok? or wait?

Joshua Memorial
Hi!
I took the photos at Joshua Memorial in Lancaster CA and I have a couple more that I thought you might like. These two niches were right next to each other (which I thought was interesting) so I took a picture of them together. Also there were some flowers (silk) on both of them so I took a picture of them with the flowers also. If you would like them, let me know.

You are very welcome. I am transferring the rest of the Stewarts in Springer to you now. If there are any others I have missed just let me know and I will get them to you right away.

Btw...it must be nice to have a family history book written by your grandmother, what better way to pass on your heritage! In my family just getting the truth about something as simple as a name is like pulling teeth! lol.

Cheers,
Sally

RE: Sarah Beulah Stansbury Benton
Hi,
I've transferred the memorials you mentioned and if there are others you wish I will transfer them as well. If you will click on the photo it will bring up a slightly larger version. I'm sorry but my computer crashed and Springer Cemetery is one that I lost. I have not returned to it since I photograghed it that year, but the next time I am up that way I will make of point of getting the photos for you. Thank you for sharing a bit of family history with me. When photographing I always wonder about the tragedy that befalls young families such as the Stewarts.

Cheers,
Sally

Phil & Donna (Stricklan) Whitaker
Resthaven - OKC
Hi there, Thanks for your hard work on F A G.

I have documented most all of the section by the office and the baby section. My father-in-law and grand-mother-in-law are buried by the office. It would be great if we could divide up the sections with others and document it all.

You may want to move your Resthaven entries to:

Resthaven Gardens Cemetery
Oklahoma City
Oklahoma County
Oklahoma
USA

It's the one with over 6000 entries. It is at 104th and S Western.

There are 3 or 4 entries for Resthaven but one above has the most entries. It would be easier for people who arenot familiar with area to find burials if they are all together.

Have a blessed week!

In case you ever visit there. He is located in one of the sections up close to the funeral home. Just a few rows from the curb.
