RE: Roder
Thanks Denise. That makes sense.
A few other questions about this family
Christian is listed as a Sr. but I can not find any information on a Jr. Is this a mistake?
Also 2 other children: Nicholas b. 1906 d. in Chicago but cannot find a burial spot. Also, a daughter, Marie Polizzi b. 1914 and cannot find a burial spot for her. Do you know if the wives of George and Edward are buried beside them in Mt. Carmel cemetery as well? Thanks for all your help!!

Sorry, I don't think I ever looked at your reply. If anyone wants to contact me regarding the Homer Pattee family, I would be happy to share my info. My mother is Homer's granddaughter by a different son.

Hello just realized that the headstone photo attached to this page belongs to Everett's son. Can you remove this photo from his page?

You wrote a bio for Cameron so I was wondering what your connection is. He is my grandfather's brother. My mother says that when he lived in Los Angeles he worked as a double for Turhan Bay to divert fans when Turhan did not want fans following him.

Besse Keith
We noticed that the Find A Grave memorial has the name of this person spelled "Bessie" while the grave marker as well as the obituary spells it "Besse"

Hi! Nice to see I found some info on my Grandfather. I was 3 years old when he passed in 1975. My dad is the son of James Corcoran and Loretta Mahoney. I have been trying to find info on my dads mom(nee Lenca) but have found nothing until this seeing her name mentioned. I vaguely remember my grandpa as a young kid, but I do remember him having alot of keys(working for the railroad), and giving me lollipops. LOL!!!!

Scott Goodchild
Herb & Barb Semper
I believe that the Sempers were our next door neighbors in Mt. Prospect, IL back in 1957 on the 300 blk. of Owen St. My parents names were Herb and Barbara Goodchild. Both families adopted German Shepherds from the same breeder that were brothers. Ours was named Max. The coincidence of the first names being Herb and Barb has always stuck with me and my siblings. My first name also happens to be Scott. My siblings are Kathy (b. 1950) and David (b. 1953.) Me, Scott (b. 1954)
Herbert Goodchild, my dad, passed away early at 57 yrs. old (1986) and mom, Barbara (Martin) Goodchild passed away this year (Apr. 12, 2014 @ 84 yrs. old) If anyone happens to remember our family from back in the day, please give a heads up for old times sake.
Thank you for allowing this intrusion.
Fondly,
Scott Goodchild (currently of Des Plaines, IL)

Not sure if or how you are related to Bessie but I see you are managing her memorial. I just added a photo I found in my Grandparents collection. My Grandpa, Frank Wilder, is a brother to her husband James Wilder. I would love to have an obit for Bessie and will see what I can find. Becky

Albert Semper
I know you are related to Albert Semper. You might find this of interest. It is also where the photo that was posted on the Find A Grave page came from. The photo came from a high school memorial book published by his high school in 1949.

I may be receiving a photo of his grave in the future.

Gibbons
Hi!
See you have Gibbons listed as one of your families. My 2nd great grandmother was Mary Gibbons Malone (abt. 1833) married (abt. 1850) to John Malone (abt. 1818). They occupied land at Claggarnagh West, Newport, Addergoole, Co. Mayo during Griffiths Val. Her brother was likely Myles Gibbons (abt. 1839). Parents were Dominick (abt. 1800) and Mary Gibbons (abt. 1800). Any connections?

Tom

Augustine Healy
I just found an article on Gus Healy's death, Republic Newspaper dated January 31, 1930. It stated that he died drinking a half gallon of poisoned wine that his wife, Electra, told him not to drink. When she advised him against drinking it, he alledgedly threw her across the room and drank two quarts of it. He died before she could get medical help for him.

Do you have other information on his death?
