RE: DNA Testing
Hello Nancy. Good to hear from you. Yes, I've taken the Ancestry DNA test. Did I come up as one of your cousins? I don't know of any Meehans in our family, but Patrick & Mary Agnes Mahon Costello are my paternal great-grandparents. I'll be happy to help you in any way that I can. Could you write to me at: Thanks. Tom Costello

RE: DNA Testing
Hi Nancy. I have done the Ancestry DNA test, but no others. Patrick W. and Mary Agnes Mahon Costello are my paternal great-grandparents. I've done the Costello Family Tree. It's available on Ancestry's Public Trees. If I can help you in any way, please write to me at What the name of the Costello-Mahon descendant that you mentioned?

Jackson Cty,OH & Kinfolk
Bunn & Old Bunn Cemeteries
Bunn Cemetery is in Lick Township Jackson County, OH.
Old Bunn Cemetery is in Franklin Township, Jackson County, OH.

They are two different Cemeteries.

According to the Jackson Cty, OH cemetery inscriptions, Steagall children & their families are laid to rest in Old Bunn Cemetery with the parents, William & Hannah Steagall.
Hope this is helpful.

Nancy, thank. You so much. Is there a memorial for Lavina Potter already?

Hi, I am looking for Woodlawn Cemetery McCracken Co., Kentucky for a Lavina Johnson Potter. Born Feb 21, 1897 died Mar 24, 1975. Born in Cherokee Co., NC died at Mission's Hosp Candler.
Buncombe Co., Asheville NC. She was buried at that cemetery. I looked up on Find A Grave the place and they had no cemetery in that location. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Gwen Cresswell

Assume the Rotondo's you sent things to change were are your family, so transferred all those I had. You can then make more personal memorials.

Gloria Kidder
Kendall lineage "Kindell"
Not that I know of. Mine are the Millers and my husbands side are Hoffers, and many parents of wives in the Hoffer family.

Plus family friends I knew well. But I did not know the Kendalls or the Newlands. However, the White families married into the Hoffer clan and my aunt by marriage maiden name was White and has relatives there. I've a long history with almost everyone in that area, and many fond memories.

I was bapized behind that little church, back when few people had ever heard of a Baptistry in the country. My great-great grandparents lived just up the road, and all of the great-great aunts and uncles owned land and farmed there.

My wish would be to hear from the Moore families. Some of them were my mother's dearest friends.

Possibly your relatives?
Would you like me to transfer the Newlands to You? I would be glad to.

RE: Emma & Pearly Slater
Okay, thanks anyway.
How did you come to make the memorials, originally? Did you use to live down there? Are you kinfolk?

Thank you so much for the transfers of memorials for my two aunts. Very kind of you.

You did a lot of work in Monroe Hollow Cemetery. Are you available to go back to take photos and find other headstones?

Thank you again.

Hello Nancy ,

I noticed that you posted a few photos of REMBY Cemetery .

I was wondering by chance that you might have photographed any JENKINS Gravestones while you were there OR the grave of JOHN MARKER ( 1805 - died 17 Dec 1884 )

I plan on going to the Cemetery , I don't live very far away from the Cemetery . I just wondered if you had any photos already , I would be interested .

Thanks ,

Scioto Co. Ohio
