Captain Edward Foster
Hi Ruth,

In researching my family I came across the wonderful page you set up for Captain Edward Foster $40524108. I do have some information that would require an edit to the page. You have Ruth Tileston Foster listed as his mother who died in 1677. Captain Edward Foster was born in 1682 so Ruth Tileston Foster could not have been his mother. His father Timothy Foster (1640-1688) married a second time to Relief Holland and had more children with Relief with Captain Edward Foster being one of those children. I have not found any burial information on Relief Holland.
Thank you,

Dea. Samuel Kingsbury Walpole, MA
Outstanding photo of the Kingsbury monument in Plains Cemetery, Walpole, MA.
I am wondering if I might have a copy for my family tree. I descend from Dea. Samuel thru his son Seth so the front of the monument is perfect to use a source in my tree.
I visited the Old Burying Ground in Walpole about 10 years ago, but missed this cemetery.
I have been able to follow my family from Dedham, Norwood, Walpole, Medfield, Medway and Bellingham. Many times it was through visiting the burial grounds, but somehow this cemetery hid from my radar.
Thank you for contributing to the greatness of findagrave. I live in RI so if you are looking for someone down here, let me know. I am always willing to help.

I was wanting to use the tombstone photo in a family album I am completing for my siblings (close cousins may want a copy). I would certainly credit you in the citation for the picture if you are okay with this. Thank you for the consideration.

RE: Abijah Crane's Death Records
Hi again, Kathy,
I have both the death records and had been looking at them more closely. Abijah had family in both places. A family tomb was at Dorchester and has his eldest son w/ descendants, but the page you gave with his name is for those whose burial location was uncertain. Rob Gregg at Vine Lake is checking into Vine Lake as we speak. A number of his other children are buried in the same plot there. If we learn anything new, I'll let you know. Thanks for all your help, Trink

Great work, Kathy! I was able to download the pub., which is new to me, so I will comb it for other relatives. I will also email my contact in Medfield to see if we can find out about the burial records there. Thanks so much for your help, Trink J.

RE: James A Ward
I asked my mother but she doesn't remember any wards related to her Grandparants.

James A Ward
My Great Grandfather Harry Parsloe was born in Woodhouse, England. He names James A Ward of Hyde Park as his Uncle on emigration papers when he enters with his wife Phoebe (we were told she was a Pashley). I am guessing this would make his Mother a Ward...
Do you have any more information? I live in Hyde Park. My GGrandfather indicates they live on Gordon Avenue, Hyde Park.

I just want to let you know that I left a picture on the memorial you have for Edward with the source of the picture in the caption. Hope it's okay with you.

Eliza Bass Curtis
Eliza Bass Curtis (26235751) is my 5th great grandmother. She was the first wife of the Rev. Philip Curtis. He and his family are buried at the top of the hill in the same cemetery. I've suggested adding "Bass" as her maiden name. She was descended from Ruth Alden Bass and John Alden & Priscilla Mullins of the Mayflower.

The Bailey/Baily saga
The Baily/Bailey family has given so many people a headache I bet I couldn't count them all.

There are two Richard Baileys both married to Esther Puffer. There is a marker photo for Esther in the same cemetery in Canton, Mass added to the memorial made by Robert Bailey. I am going to use the information for the burial in Canton. I don't know what if anything you want to do with the two entries. I am thinking they are the same person. Richard and Esther had children named James and Esther.
