j. Frederic Lang, I would appreciate if you could edit the location of death, as that county did not exist at the time of his death. Also it is mentioned in his bio incorrectly regarding residence.
On this next fact I am not positive, but I would believe his given name would have been a German spelling of Johann not English John.
As the manger of his memorial, I hope you will consider researching the corrections I am suggesting. He was a paternal 6th great uncle to me.

You had originally created the memorial "Harold Lee Roach" (#55473391). The gentleman that the grave was transferred to has passed away.
Joann, "Harold Lee Roach's" wife is "Ida Louise Loftis" (b. 03 Mar 1912, Cooksville, Putnam Co., TN; d. 26 Jan 1970,Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Co., OK)
There is no memorial for "Ida Louise Loftis Roach." Do you know if she is buried with her husband?

Thank you so much for the transfer of the memorial for Lillie Still. I was so excited to find her. If a closer relative to her should request a transfer from me, I will gladly transfer.
Once again, thank you!

Mrs. Still was the daughter of the great grandparents of my husband. Would you transfer her memorial to us, if you are not related? I realize the request is out of find a grave guidelines. Thank you for your consideration.

Greetings, I have a conundrum. You have John A. Long 47194616. I have a John Long 121541077 born 1790 and died same as yours. Mine is buried at the Long family cemetery. You have yours at a church cemetery with a note that some sources list him elsewhere. Mine married a Nancy as did yours. I am looking at probate records that list a minor child Ellis Long. The probate lists John E. Long Sr. You have John A. I believe they are all one and the same. I believe the cemetery is wrong and middle initial is wrong. Basically I suppose I am asking what do you wish to do? Do you want a transfer? Do you wish to delete and me make corrects?

Joann - Thank you so much for taking photos, loading, and transferring the Matherly family to my care. Volunteers like you are what keeps me interested in volunteering my time and not to mention what you do to help families find their loved ones. Valerie

My Name is Bart Smith and I am a great great grandson of John Branom/Brannon. My grandmother is Matilda Mae Smith who was his Grand Daughter. My Aunt is Kathleen Peraino of Conway Missouri.
I'm curious about the various spellings of johns last Name. I have a theory that when he enlisted they most likely had a clerk writing down the , etc. and it would have been easy for it to have been miss spelled. My Grandmother spelled her name Branom.
If My theory is correct he may have not made an issue of the miss spelling as it was probably tied to his pay voucher and pension etc. Would appreciate any thought you might have,
Thanks Bart Smith, Derby Kansas
