Conner / Connor Mary b.1826
Troy, thanks for the question no info. my search at the time was for my g g grandmother Mary Connor 1825 or 26 Ancestry .com connected Jacob Conner 1776- 1862 to Mary Conner b. 1826 his daughter, at the time i could not find any info on Mary except date of birth 1826. After your message i started a new search found Mary Conner b.1826 d.1880 was married Apr 5 1848 to Thomas Bradley b.1827-d.1880. So this is not my g g grandmother. My Mary married Jul 14 1839 Union County, GA. to Milton E Brown b.1815 SC. I am sorry for all the confusion more sorry i have not found my g g g grandparents as i had thought. I will have to start over. Thanks again, Frances Brown Jetter

RE: conner
Hi Troy, I am not as familiar with cemeteries outside the park in Swain County. I don't know of any other names for the ones in the park. I looked at the one of Lakeview Dr and the two in the Smokemont area and transferred any Conner memorials over to you. I think I transferred four of them. If you find others or anyone else related just let me know and I am more than happy to transfer them over to you. Wish I was of more help on your questions.

RE: Catherine Dales Heyl
Hi Troy,
Thanks for the geni link. That is not a "source" but yet another web page with unsourced data. So many people just copy data from one website and republish it on another and often that data can be incorrect. A true source would be some kind of legal document or family bible or church record or something that shows definitively that she was born in that particular place.
So far the only "definitive" record that I can find for her is from a church record. I have the image posted on her webpage on WikiTree: if you want to check it out. I don't read German, so I am trusting the LDS church interpretation.
Thanks again,
Catharine's Sixth Great Granddaughter

I see you're the one that created the memorial here for Nicey Mills Hill in Balsam. Are you related? She was my paternal great-grandmother.

Catherine Dales Heyl
Hi Troy,
What is your source for the info on Peter and Catherine Heyl? I am trying to document their bios on WikiTree and would really love to get it straight. There seems to be much confusion about them. How do you know Catherine was born in Nassan, Deggendorf, Bayern, Germany?

Ashe cem.
Thanks so much for all the edits that you have done for us; we really appreciate them.
Don't really know about the unknowns but two of them you can almost read. With a little brushing of the stone you might be able to make them out. We do brushing and cleaning on family stones as needed. What road or area is Ashe Cem.?

Hi Troy, there is a new way to do edits. On your profile page(where your # of memorials are) look at the edit button, top right, and there will be a number by it; just click on that and you will see all your request for edit and at the bottom of that page just click process edits(if you except them). If you have a problem with that let me know and will send them the old way.Thanks.

Dear Troy,
I am not sure if you remember me, but you were so kind to help me back in 2008 with info about my GG Grandmother, Georgia. I still have not found anyone that has a photo of her, or any information relating to her. I was hoping you may have some new or updated information for me about her. Please let me know if you can help me. Thank you so much.

Troy, I do not believe that all of this is totally accurate. . . so if you have other information, please let me know. I have always desired to be "PERFECT" in whatever I do, but with the Conner Family Tree having "intertwined branches" as it does, this creates doubt at many levels in my mind.
