On his headstone it has his year of birth as 1853, that is why I sent the correction in.

RE: Jennie Pearl Knox Kennedy
Hello. I am a grandson of Jennie Pearl Knox's brother, James S. Knox, spouse of Stella Gertrude Mitchell-Knox of El Reno, OK. My brothers and I lived with them in 1943-1945 and I used to visit with Pearl and her sister on Ellison Avenue almost daily. However, I do not have any photos of either of the sisters.
I have several message and inquiries on Reno, Oklahoma, hoping to make a contact with their children or grandchildren still in/around the El Reno, area. If and when I am able to secure a photo I will let you know.
If you are interested, The Knox family line in El Reno began with William H. Knox and Mary Catherine Kuhler-Knox from Chariton County, Missouri that moved to Reno Township and Yukon, Oklahoma in the 1890's. Their memorials are 47026469 and 46458522 in Rose Hill Cemetery in Okla. City.
I would like to have any genealogy you have on their know descendents in El Reno, OK.
Until next time, see ya.

I'm sure I've heard that before, but have forgotten over the years. My great grandfather came for the land run and helped settle our town and it was Reno City, before they moved it across the river to where it is, now. My husband's kin used to live in Mathewson, but it's gone, too.
Thanks for the reminder and many blessings to you and yours.
