Possible relation?
hi Ladybug, I am new to and have been looking up graves of my ancestors. I believe that this Elias Ramsberger is my 6th great grandfather ( b. 3/20/1748 d. 1803) his father was Stephen ( b. 10/11/1711) If this is true then are you a daughter or niece of Albert Rensberger (b. 9/22/1869 d. 4/12/1930)? my grandmother is Letadel Rensberger Fuller (b. Oct 1924) If not then never mind :)

Knepp Family
Hi, Ladybug.........
Thank you so much for the photo of John Knepp's grave -- I'm his 3rd great grandson (so you and I are 4th cousins!). Do you have any information on where his wife Mary Price is buried or anything on either of their families? They both hailed from PA, they said, so I'll also look there.

Thank you again for all you do. It makes this research and history so personal. Take care!
.............. Russell Mikel

RE: Clara Harris
Amazing what you can find if you walk away then return. I did that with William, and I've found more info. I also found a Family Tree at Ancestry with a photo of Sarah's obit, in it is, "Mrs. Harris adopted a daughter later on in life who is now Mrs. Henry Limbaugh....." So, Clara was adopted by Sarah Harris, probably without the benefit of documentation.

If you want Sarah's obit it's in the Harris-Nevenger Family Tree.

RE: Clara Harris
William T. Harris did die prior to Dec. 1864. Familysearch has a record of a pension application for Sarah E. Harris (widow) dated Dec 27 1864.

So, back to Clara, apparently no one has been able to determine her true parents. The only thing I find is that William was not her dad.

RE: Clara Harris
I didn't find a death cert. for William, just his find-a-grave memorial (# 759664). But the 1970 census shows Sarah as head of the family (listed first) and only her and 6 of the children.

I need to research the Civil War records a little more. I found a couple of Draft Registrations for William Harris about the right age in Missouri. Son George Abraham Lincoln was born in Missouri.

Looks like William needs a whole lot of research. (I'm looking at stuff while composing this) Williams Find-a-grave memorial shows he died in Helena, Arkansas in 1864, the Battle of Helena was in 1863, so which is incorrect, the death date of the location. Of course they might both be right and he died of disease rather that a casualty of the battle.

I'll look into William and see if I can find anything positive.

Clara Harris

If Howard Limbaugh is your 5th cousin, have you researched Clara Harris, Howard's mother? Census records show her the daughter of Sarah (McNeil) Harris. Family trees I've seen show her the daughter of Sarah and her husband William Thomas Henry Harris. Clara was born in 1875, William died in 1864, so he's not Clara's father. I'm trying to find her real parents and so far no luck.

RE: The Ramsburgs
That would be great. I will get back with you after the Easter Holiday. I'm kinda snowed under until then. And I when we start to share Ramsburg information, I want to be able to devote my attention to it.

Have a blessed Easter!

The Ramsburgs
In wandering around through the various Ramsburg memorials, I noticed a message from you to another contributor inquiring about Henry Ramsburg, whose father was Stephen. I do have a lot of information on the Ramsburgs from a compilation of family history and extensive research done by a cousin several years back. According to this info, Stephen is listed as just Stephen and his wife as Anna Catherine Brunner. Your names are just slightly different, but I know they are the same individuals.

Bottom line is - I think you and I are apples from the same tree! Just kidding! Seriously, though, my grandmother was a Ramsburg from this line and I would love to exchange info with you.

George Row born 1723-1780
Hi Brady
I believe i may be related to George Row 1723.
My ancestors are Jacob Kinney 1752 and wife Catherine Rau and cannot find anything on them. They went to the Row Reformed and Lutheran church. I believe it may have been called that before it was called Row Lutheran. I see you took the picture of George Row's stone and wonder if you know anything about the family. KPerry

James Brady b. 1867
In the Grand Ridge Cemetery, there are only 2 Bradys that are buried. James b.1867 and Mary Jane b. 12/9/1844. However, they are not buried in the same section of the cemetery. He is buried in section 1 and she is buried in section 2. Agewise, they could be mother and son but I have no information if that is the case. Sorry I can't be of further help. Contact to see if they can help you.

James Brady
The only information I have is his tombstone. He is not related. You would have to call the cemetery to see if they can help you.

When you ask about a person posted at Find A Grave it would be really helpful to include their personal memorial page number and going thru the Edit button gives the volunteer your link and the link to the person.
Do you have a death date?
