Ellen Wallace #18779238 in FAG
Your request "Would you please change her mother's name from Gatling to Gray. Zerelda Gray Sanders's mother was Mary "Polly" Chalfant Gray. Thank you, Maggie" does not make sense. Ellen's mother is not shown as a Gatling and her grandmother is already shown as Mary Gray.

I am so sorry but the cemetery is in a really bad condition. Many of the stones are missing and they are all turned over. I was glad to take this picture for you.

I was happy to take this picture. I traveled from KS to take pictures of my ancestors so I looked up some of the photo requests while I was there. This stone was lying flat and was almost completely covered in dirt.

Thank you ever so much for the wonderful photograph of my cousin Helen's marker! It is appreciated immensely as we are in CA....
I love the picture! Is it possible that if you are out there again in a few weeks or a month that you can walk over and see if they have added a permanent marker? If so could you let me know and upload a pic? I wouldn't want for the photograph of the temporary marker to be removed though, just an addition....
Your amazing - thanks so much,
Jeremy

RE: Lavonia Mead #32516394
Wish I knew more about Uncle Roy's family, but unfortunately I don't. Really lost touch with them after Gma Creaser died back in 1958. I'm pretty sure than Lavonia was still married to Norman back then. Believe they divorced and then she married Mead, but I don't know when. Norman and Lavonia are together in the 1940 census, so at least it was some time after that. I've been told that Glenn Canfield, Lavonia's brother, is still alive and living somewhere in the Aurora/Lawrenceburg area. I have another cousin that I do know, grandson of Wallace, Roy's brother, who is down there so maybe I could ask cousin Donnie if he knows if Glenn is still alive and how to contact him. Donnie's daughter Ruthie and I have communicated because she is interested in the family genealogy and may even know more about Lavonia. I'll reach out to them and see what I can find to help you (and me, since I'm clueless)

Lavonia Mead #32516394
Thanks for pointing out that I still had not added Lavonia's maiden name. Guess I sent an edit to Justin and he must have just transferred her rather than do the edit since he knows I'm working my Canfield family in Dearborn County. Lavonia was a daughter of my great uncle Roy & aunt Annie.

RE: Rauzie French's tombstone
I also sent a edit to have the son Rollie J France to be connected to his parents Delbert & Rauzie but I know the one that made his memorial has passed on but I think after 21 days I was told it will update the edits automatic if no ones does it before that.
I noticed Harper was Rauzie's maiden name also for his obit

RE: Rauzie French's tombstone
I also sent an edit saying the death year was different ok I see it has been changed now it did say 1993 I didn't even notice the first name difference until now.
Quatum is pretty fast on editing just use the edit name section and change the name

Hi,
Would you be kind enough to give me an additional reference or references regarding the correct name spelling (other than what I have posted). It would help me a great deal in making the site available to her descendants. Thank you for your help. I look forward to hearing from you.
Best Regards
