The children's parents have been corrected on her memorial giving you credit. Thanks for letting me know. Now, I will make the same correction on Henry's memorial.

RE: Margaret Copenaver
I'm sorry but as far as I can find, I do not manage a memorial for anyone with the surname Copenaver. May I suggest that when you want to send additional information or corrections regarding a memorial that you use the edit tab on the top right of the memorial. If you want to send a message such as you have left for me, please use the sixth option "any other corrections". This will send an email to the manager of the memorial that includes a link to the memorial in question. That way, there is no question that the two of you are on the same page.

RE: Edits
That should be easy then just send copy of the document and/or documents. That will be fine. I have never been able to find any primary proof of her given name or death date. I will except a will, deed, Bible record, marriage record or just anything that is considered primary proof.

No kin to Humphrey's was just helping a friend take photos of the graves for another web site "Oklahoma Cemeteries" I live about 30 miles from Akins, my eldest son lives a mile north of the cemetery. It is very sad how much the gravestones have deteriorated in the last ten years. Strange that for 70 or more years they were in very good shape, now they are very hard to reed. Could it be this acid rain we hear about ?

thanks for the heads up on the Duplicate. Also wanted to say that someone had scraped the stone with a knife or something. I would never do that those stones are a piece of history and should not be defaced in any way.

Where did you get the information on their burial location...I have been researching for over 10 years and every thing I fond says she is in Faulkner country and he is in Boone county Arkansas. No death certificate on either of them.. And which greenbrier cemetery...there is 3-5 cemeteries in greenbrier. Thanks for the information, but until I have definite proof that is where they are nothing will be changed.

Hi Nastij,

Since there are multiple different versions of her maiden name depending on what source you look at, I decided on Boutros/Butros for two reasons:

If you look the name up in Wikipedia, it is an arabic form of Peter used by Lebanese christians. Since she was from Lebanon, it makes sense that her maiden name would be one that was commonly used in Lebanon.

Another source lists her maiden name as Pertros, which I believe is a garbled form of Petros. This ties in with Boutros as Boutros is a variant of Peter.

Her naturalization papers (where she used Butros) were likely filled out by her personally, as opposed to the wedding paperwork her son filled out (which might have been garbled by someone else along the way, some people have atrocious handwriting)

Hi Nastij,

I was doing some more research and Butros looks an awful lot like Boutros, which apparently is an arabic form (but only used by christians in the middle east) of the name Peter. So it looks like all these names are just variants of each other.

I'm going to put all this in her bio section. I will go ahead and accept your edit but then I'm going to change it to Butros.

Hi Nastij,

What's your source for her maiden name? Poking around on Ancestry I'm seeing what looks like the same name but it is garbled or spelled differently in different sources. On her naturalization papers from 1945 it is listed as Butros, while on her son Edward's birth record it is listed as Pertros, and then you have sent me an edit listing Bordreau

Maiden names really help! You sent the name, I did a bit of poking around, found some additional records and now she is linked to her parents. Thanks again for sending the info! ;)

Thank you for your suggestion to add Tubb as her maiden name. At the present, I am hesitant to do so because there has not been any documentation for this. In the bio, I had stated that her name is likely Tubb but no documentation at the time. These are my ancestors but I have not been able to verify her maiden name. Thanks again for your interest.

Copenhaver Ritter
Hi, thank you for the family info regarding Rosa Ritter. I did make the change you've suggested, but upon doing so I found that the compound use of the last name no longer displays her memorial under a search by either the Ritter or Copenhaver last names. So I returned her name on the memorial back to as it was originally listed so it can be subsequently found. I know this is not what you had suggested, but I hope you understand. Sincerely, C.V.
