Did you know that you have two memorials for Marion Vivian Tracey Wheatcraft, #43045185 and #91689879? Anyway, I am trying to locate information on the Tracey family of Johnson Co. and Brown Co., Indiana. Specifically, I'm trying to find the parents of Martha Jane Tracey/Tracy b. 1823 KY who married William Jackson Kelley b. 1816 KY. Do you know anyone working on the Tracey family? Thanks

RE: Mary Ann
Sounds like we might be cousins, I've had difficulties with my mother's side of the family.

My mother is a Short

My mother's grandparents are John Fowler Short &
Mary Elizabeth Anderson. (This is her Dad's side)

My mother's great, great grandparents on her mother's side is William "Bill" Thompson & Rhoda Thurman.

RE: Dr. Josiah Addison Moore
No, I'm not kin to the Moores, just had an old 1929 listing that had Josiah, his wife & her dad listed there.
I transferred to you, have a great day!

RE: Moore/Walker
Hi Virginia, I'm afraid I'm not up to date on the various Moores, having concentrated on my line. There is a reprint of The Captives of Abb's Valley, "new addition" by Robert Bell Woodworth with an extensive genealogy. I purchased my copy directly from the publisher who did the latest reprint: Mountain Press, P.O. Box 400, Signal Mountain, TN 37377. You can google them and see if they are still in business. I believe that google books has The Descendants of John Walker of Wigton on-line and that will give you more information too. There are hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of Moore and Walker descendants all over the U.S. My best to you, Suzanne

RE: Margaret Moore #5236776
Virginia, transferred Margaret you along with James E Davis. I posted this years ago from list of owners of lots I obtained from the Green Room in Lexington Library. It was noted to be the only reference to people interred there. I have received some messages from researchers stating names moved on and are buried elsewhere, even though they were lot owners. Can't tell you any more on this, but perhaps further research has been done since 2001. Anne
