|Joyce Dillingham||Morgan Guffy Jr.|
Hi Judy. I searched the Free Home Church Cemetery today for Morgan Guffey's gravesite but was unable to find it. I did find headstones for Morgan Guffey Jr. dated 02/14/36 and Mary C. Guffey D. 05/15/1933. If you need these, I would be happy to send them to you.

|Past Hunter||Ralph Calvin Guffey|
Judy, I just notice that the picture you posted for Ralph Calvin Guffey is for a Ralph W. Guffey I had called the cemetery and that is the number they gave me that I posted but it is incorrect. The dates are wrong and the middle name is incorrect. Would you please remove the picture from Ralph Calvin. Our Ralph Calvin should be by his wife Eleanor Case Guffey. (We have obit saying she is buried at Restland in the Chapel of the Gardens. Thank you. Pat

That's an interesting question. CC Days' first wife was committed to the North Texas Hospital for Women (insane asylum) where she died in 1930. I believe she's buried somewhere in Navarro Co. He's married to someone named Grace P. in the 1930 census and the informant on his death certificate looks to be Mrs. Idella Day.

Thanks for all the pictures. I wish I'd known I needed to tramp around that cemetery when I traveled to Dallas regularly. Now I'm wondering where the "wife" is to CC Day's "husband." There was no room for her in the family plot.
