Moses Scott
I'm working on a volume of grave locations for veterans of Co. M, 15th NY Heavy Artillery. Could I have your permission to use the picture you posted of Moses Scott's grave in this compilation? I will cite you as the source, but I need your surname. My e-mail address is rosuar@aol.com.

Thank you.

Thanks so much. Someday I will ask Find A Grave to get rid of the newer duplicate. I used the obit tonight though to try to create connections. Thanks,PJ

Vivian, is there a chance you can copy the obit you have here, http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSln=Stanton&GSiman=1&GScnty=2030&GSsr=81&GRid=52507095& And paste a copy in the correct and duplicate memorial in the same cemetery for the other Jacob Stanton? Thanks, Pat J.

You are a sweetheart. I will appreciate it. Does the cemetery keep a record and make it available to people. I would drive there as it is about 3 1/2 hours away.

Alfred Gordon @ Laurel Grove
Hi Vivian! It's been a long time since our last contact (I'm on again, off again, here at find-a-grave)Just wanted to let you know I posted a pic of Alfred's headstone & apologize for not having anything handy to clean it before shooting the photo! You are welcome to download, photoshop and reload. Note the birth year. Will try to remember to reshoot next time I am in the vicinity ... hadn't realized it was one of your far flung Gordon tribe.

Hope all is well,
Jane

RE: Maria Allen Thompkins
Vivian,

Thank You for you response on Maria Allen Tompkins. Spent time on the Allen Family yesterday. Finally tied Lydia A Allen (65661327) to her daughter Elizabeth (83424081), and found other members of the Allen Family.

Regards, Grant

Sarah Allen
I believe Elizabeth Sherwood Allen went mostly by Betsey Sherwood Allen. I checked the Fulton Post Card site. Found two entries:

Alson - Tompkins P -reth Sherw (could not tell what it was)
Monticello NT Republican Watchman
1829-1831 - Grayscale - 0407 pdf
(checked the page as well but part was unreadable)

Sherwood Alson Tompkins
Monticello NY Republican Watchman 1829-1831 Grayscale 0403 pdf

Betsey Sherwood
Betsey Sherwood was the name used on her tombstone, I believe as he wife of Reuben Allen.

Maria Allen Thompkins
I would like to prove that Maria Allen was the daughter of Reuben and Elizabeth Sherwood Allen. It seems like it could be but just need a little more proof that it is. If I could find her obituary that would help, and I will look in Fulton Postcards for it. Thank you for all you do. Regards, Grant Davis

Hi!
Thanks to all of your great work, I figured out that we are related by marriage. Your GGGG Grandfather Caleb was the uncle of George W. Baker who married my G Grandfather's sister. Thanks for all the pictures and information; it helped me figure out my mother's father's side of the family. Can you link my mother (79976420) to her father, James E. Griffin (26699726).

Dear Vivian, So happy that you took photos at wurtsboro cemetery. I am trying to find out who Mary Crawfords 1873-1890 parents are and also Robert Crawford 1901. I am working on my husbands Moms side of the family and it would be wonderful if maybe you might have this information. Thank you in advance. A >Helt
