Hi, part 2
Forgot to mention that my mother's father was a Lockhart, and my mother's mother was an Agerton. John Thomas Agerton, Mammie Cooper's first husband, was my great grand uncle.

Thanks again,
Caryn

Hello Terri Smith

Please add a short Bio to Ida Cooper White. I've already added a photo.

Ida Cooper White died in a Dublin hospital on July 27, 1967. She was born and reared in Montgomery County but had been a resident of Laurens County for 40 years. She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs.

W. W. Cooper and wife of the late Dennis White Sr. Dennis White got a license to marry Ida Cooper in 1902. He told the Ordinary she was old enough and her father did not mind. But her father knew nothing about it until after the knot was tied. Then he got a warrant for Dennis. Charged him with kidnapping and sued out a writ of habeas corpus for his daughter. He claimed that his daughter was under 14 years of age, and that the marriage was illegal. Dennis gave bond for his court appearance and some how got off again with his young bride. The end of one matter and the beginning of another.

Ida was survived by three daughters, Mrs. Olee Suttop, Dublin, Mrs. Thelma Pass, Winterville, and Mrs. Mary Wood, Soperton, nine grandchildren and seven great - grandchildren

The Georgia Death Index gives Ida's date of birth as 1894 but the 1990 Montgomery county census shows her date of birth as April 1888

I've written you before about placing memorials in the wrong cemeteries. I cannot for the life of me understand why you're doing it, and I wish I knew what your source is for doing it. These people you've placed memorials for in this cemetery are not buried here. Please correct this or delete your posts if they are already placed n the correct cemetery(s)

Again, you have transferred an incorrect memorial to me instead of correcting it, or in this case, checking for the correct post and deleting yours. I had already entered this individual's memorial in the correct cemetery: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSln=calhoun&GSfn=nancy&GSbyrel=all&GSdyrel=all&GSst=12&GScnty=485&GScntry=4&GSob=n&GRid=97361720&df=all& , so I will be transferring this memorial back to you for deletion rather than contacting Findagrave administration again and asking them to delete it. As I stated earlier, only the original contributor can delete a memorial.
