Kathie
Emilie C Sanford @ StL Calvary
Hello,

This lot is interesting... But she is there, I was surprised. I think the reason she was never 'photographed' before is Her engraving was VERY hard to read. I did not even notice it, the first time, or second time I went through.

The flashlight helped tons to read the engraving.

I am not sure if Ellen is active, I would make note of the changes and make sure they happen. I have also submitted a request to change her name to Emilie, the stone rules. And that is what is in the Chouteau Family history book.
And a transcription add, so it is not just in the Caption of the photo.

Good Luck
Kathie

I would love to photograph the headstones/graves you are requesting but I cannot find the location of the cemetery. Do you have more information on where it might be located? Thanks, Angie

Photo Request for Elizabeth Wright
Through a search of records on ancestry.com, I have found the following information: Elizabeth was the daughter of William and Georgianna (Gordon) Terrill. Elizabeth married Isaac Wright on Dec 25, 1877 in Lynn, MA. Her second marriage was to William H. Tyler on Dec 24, 1902, in Lynn, MA. I believe this memorials 78559155 and 15911017 are duplicates. I have sent a message to the creator of the memorials.

Photo request for Elizabeth Wright
I found a grave stone at Bigonia Path, Grave 82 but the name on the stone is Elizabeth D, wife of William H. Tyler with dates of 1861-1925. Do you know if her maiden name may have been Wright?

RE: Drucilla Downs
Sorry Shel;
I don't have much on Drucilla. Other spelling found was Drusilla. Possibly born in Indiana. 19 or 20 years younger than Zach. I'm guessing Zach had children with a previous wife: Probably passed away on the trail of tears. Ben would have been born of another wife. Be sure and view the documents that I uploaded under Zach and Drucilla F.A.G. pages.
This is a thread I'd like to tug at some more.

RE: John Meyer
Hmm... I don't think so. My gr-gr-uncle John was the oldest in the family, although he did have a much younger brother named Joe who was a physician! Thank you for your help!

John Meyer
Hello! It seems that you knew John Meyer (1875-1961) or have some information about him. The name is relatively common, and I am trying to track down "my" John Meyer who was my gr-gr-uncle. I think it might be the same John Meyer you have created a memorial for. Do you know the names of his parents or any siblings? I am looking for John Meyer (born in/near Joliet, IL) who is the son of Michael and Frances Meyer. Thank you! ~Jen Ruhl

Benson Sherman
Hi Shel, I claimed your request for Benson Sherman in Roselawn Cemetery in Roseville, Minnesota. His plot was bought by a John Peter Anderson d. 3-4-1928 at age 67 who is enterned next to him with a Ella S. Anderson d.12-13-1961 age 86. I will take pics of all 3, as Roselawn has all it's graves listed on Find A Grave. Take care, Bob.

RE: Manly Sherman
You're very welcome! I had no idea that Manly and Ezra were my cousins until after I took the photos. They're related to me through the Foote family. They came to Ohio with the Ohio Company when Ohio was not a state but was part of the Northwest Territory. I had other relatives that came to the same area with the Ohio company. Ezra had an interesting life being a Shaker!

Robert John Chudek
Emma Falk Will
Thank you for the information. Our society records indicate her two children are Oscar and Harold. I have linked them into the family. I see Harold was born when Emma was about 46 years old, which is rather late in life. If there is a mistake about this, please let me know.

The biographical sketch in "The People of Chisago County - 19th Century" Book 7, Page 55 by Earl W Leaf has a brief family history, although it is inconclusive regarding the relationships of the people listed. His sources are the county death records and 1885 & 1895 MN census records.

He finds Frank & Emma in household 89 of Fish Lake Twp with Oscar F (9), Ida S (7), and Anna L (5) as their children (Harold not born yet). Also on the Chisago county death record shows Petronella Will, b 25-Jan-1818, d 25-Apr-1897 recorded as a widow, age 77 in this household. This might be Frank's mother?

Emma's parents are listed (source not stated) as Jacob and Anna Will, which is most likely to be a surname error. But to add more confusion, there is a John Will (a carpenter) age 36 living in the household too, having been in Fish Lake Township for 18 years and 11 months.

If you have information or records that sort this out, I would be interested in reviewing them to clarify this biographical sketch written by Earl.

A direct email is preferred. Thank you!
