Pearl Mae Wilkinson parentage
Hi Carla, I was wondering if you're a descendant of Oscar Wilkinson and Julia Martino Wilkinson? Julia is a sister of my husband's great-great grandfather and I have a lot more information on the Martino (originally "Martineau") line of the family if you're interested. Oscar's wife, Julia Anne Martino was one of 22 children of her father, Franklin Martineau, who was from upstate New York..having lived in Franklin and Clinton Counties, New York before moving to Iowa. I'd like to compare research if you're a Martino descedant. Franklin had 3 known kids by his first marriage, and 18 or 19 with 2nd wife, Julia Gokey or Gautier, who was originally from Canada. Please contact me if you're a descendant of Julia Martino Wilkerson, and if by chance you know if there are any photos of Julia's parents-Franklin and Julia Martino, that would be great to know. Thanks,
Karen Tumbleson

Re:Dow thank you
I had the day off & made a much anticipated 230 mile trek that day to several family related cemeteries. Grabbed a photo request list, sorry I couldn't find them all, made a few members happy, cleaned up several markers, took 50 photos & had a very productive day. Glad to oblige.

Ragnor Swanson Josephson Memorial # 112058627
Hello I found him.
Mr. Josephson is not in my family tree.
In his case, I always leave flowers on memorials that have been requested and/or claimed in my area. It is a personal thing that I do, so that I can keep track of which memorials were requested/claimed etc. If you need some assistance locating additional information on him, I would be happy to help.
If you are upset about my flower, I apologize in advance.

RE: John Moore Hartley
Thanks for replying. I wondered if you were related to Ira and Oliver Miller who married into the Canada Hartley's because of your last name. Anyway, thanks for your good work. Regards Jean

John Moore Hartley
Hello, I think you have the wrong John Moore Hartley for your cemetery in New Lenentine Cmty. The John M. who is brother to Captain James Hartley is actually buried in the Old Richmond Cmty in Ontario that you will find on a find a grave search. James Hartley named one of his sons after this brother John M. who was b. 1818 in Southampton and d. 23 Aug 1889 in Southampton. Maybe this is the John Moore Hartley in New Lenentine. Please let me know what you think. Thank you Jean Rahmanian tree Turner Marshall Johnson etc where I have extensive information on the Hartleys. Regards

RE: Thanks
Carla, If I may ask, do you know who Mary Isabels second husband is? I saw on the ancestry family tree that she was listed as married to Samson prior to coming to Oregon, but in the 1900 census she is still a Miller and in 1910 listed as a Samson, but widowed.

I manage the majority of the cemeteries in Columbia County and have no record of another Samson death.

I am also very curious as to what would posses a women to leave her family and move to Oregon with her twin babies. I saw that there was a document discussing it, but it was private.

You can write me back privately stevensm @ yahoo . com

Welcome Back
Hi Carla,

Thank you for writing back. I am updating Hugh Miller's memorial now and will ask Samuel Barrett to post his gravestone photo to it. There are some more Millers buried in that cemetery, so will turn his memorial for Hugh Miller into one of them.

Sincerely, Tim Cooper
Sidney, Maine

Hugh Miller buried in Blaine, Maine
Hi Carla,

Hugh Miller is buried in Robinson Cemetery AKA: Sanborn Cemetery in Blaine, Aroostook County, Maine with his wife Miriam. I have her memorial linked to his, so you should be able to "move" him to the correct cemetery. If you need help doing this you could transfer the memorial to me and I can "move" it to the correct cemetery for you. My findagrave contributor ID# is: 46907821

Sincerely, Tim Cooper

RE: Ira Miller
Hi there - are you referring to the Ira Miller buried in Canada? (There are a couple Ira Millers in my tree!) -- we can't request photos from Canada yet, hopefully that will come soon!

Are we related, by chance? This Ira Miller is my 3rd great grand uncle (his brother, George, is my 3x grandfather).

All the best,

Isaac N F Brown & Elizo O Brown.
The Cemetery Sign photo is on all memorials - it is picked by the Admins. I see the name of Isaac but I do not see the name Eliz - I checked the Mountain View burial index - is that the correct name?

Thank you so much for finding and sending me the picture of Charles Maar's tombstone. We were under the impression that there was only a marker from the funeral home. This is great, and we appreciate the time and effort you have put forth on our behalf!
