RE: Gerald D. Myres
Thanks so much for all your time and effort.
I was originally given the wrong information.
Gerald D. Jr. is buried at Georges Creek, but
Gerald D. Sr. and Mildred are buried at Laurel
Land (Tarrant County), and are not yet on find
agrave. I will remove them from Georges Creek.
Thanks again. I was able to get in touch with
a daughter in law that lives in Colorado.

James Earnest Dugger
Dear Doug, I volunteer at the Rapides Cemetery, and am familiar with the Dugger plot, which has 4 graves to my knowledge. James Earnest Dugger, Sr.,
Mary H. Dugger, Jerry and Evelyn(no dates on these 2). Do you know if James Jr. is supposed to be buried in this plot?
Thanks Stanley

RE: Gerald D. Myres
Doug, If my information is wrong, I am sorry.
I am a great niece of Mildred Myres. I spent
numerous hours lately looking for information.
I was told by a relative,(and there are only a
couple left) that they were buried in a family
cemetery. I know their son is buried there, and I found Gerald Sr. parents listed Robert Ewing Myres
and Zora shook Myres.I also called the library in
that area, trying to get copies of obituaries, and received an answer that seemed like no one knew how
to look up a newspaper obituary. If my information
is wrong, I will remove it. Do you have any
suggestions, as to where I could look farther. It
is not possible that I look for this in person,as
I live in Illinois. Any suggestions you have would
be deeply appreciated.

Laura Virgil
Hi Doug
If you don't remember me, I'm your Aunt Lou's niece on her Mother's side. Your Aunt Lou and my Mom were sisters. We've talked before, and I'd like to email you if that's okay. I have a different email than I did before, so if it's okay to write you, I'll put my name in the subject line.

God bless,
Laura V.

Dugger Family
My paternal grandmother was the half-sister of "Uncle Ras" Dugger, the youngest daughter of Thomas Marshall Dugger(son of William Walter and Cyrena Teresa Wilkes Dugger) and his second wife, Lou (probably Lucille) Rodgers.
His family with 1st wife, Eliza, consisted of William, Marshall David, Arminta Mae, Ella, Walter and James.
His Family with 2nd wife Lou consisted of John Marcus, Maxi, Cyrena Elizabeth, Alford (or Alfred)Jones and my grandmother, Nannie Clementine. Have lots of information on this family, many pictures. Are you a decendant of one of these children?

Lawrence O. Dugger - connect to Nellie Hyde?
Hi Doug,
I see you are doing genealogy research on your Dugger family. I saw you created a memorial for Lawrence O. Dugger and I am wondering if you have connected to him to Leroy Dugger and his wife, Nellie A. Hyde? Do you think he might be the person named George Oliver Lawrence Dugger. My ultimate goal is to connect Nellie Alberta Hyde to the correct Carlton Paul Hyde who is is the “presumed” (by most online family trees, which provide no citation) father of Nellie and the husband of Willmetta Killmer. Many family trees also connect Lawrence to Leroy but provide no proof. Unfortunately there may have been more than one Carlton, or C. P., or Carl, or C. Paul Hyde in the Oregon/Washington area and I am trying to unravel and prove that I have the correct Hyde-Killmer connection. Anything you have would be helpful, but of course my original question is the parentage of Lawrence Dugger. Thanks, Myron

Dugger info
Hello Doug,
I was wondering if you had any info on John W Dugger, married to Bunia/Buney Dugger. They had Laura Bell Dugger who died of cancer I believe in Coos County Oregon. She married my great grandfather Andrew Jackson Cornwell and they had a daughter: Beulah Vesta Cornwell who married Uriah Bricker. I'd like to link Beulah to her mother and family if possible. I haven't been able to find them. Thanks in advance.

Brown Cemetery on Powell Drive
Dear Mr. Dugger,

I started the Brown Cemetery on Powell Drive, because none of the other Brown cemeteries had the correct location. So, I spent over a week collecting all the headstone information, taking pictures and inputting the information. When I was almost finish, I found that four of the entries were already on Find A Grave at a Brown cemetery with the GPS coordinates for Artella Dr. which is in a totally different part of town. I immediately deleted my duplicates of the four entries.

If you wish to correct the location on your cemetery, I'd be happy to move all the ones I've worked on in to it. Or, if you wish to just move the few you have into mine. Either way that works to merge all the entries .

This has not been a case of disrespect as the other Find A Grave member has implied, just one of confusion. So, please let me know what you want done.

Brown Cemetery, Powell
Good Evening, Are you aware Beaver Creek Church has cleaned Brown Cemetery and is re-fencing it? It is wonderful! My husband and I photographed all legible, and I began researching and adding them to your 4. Tonight I realized someone has created a new page for Brown which, of course, does not include your 4. I wrote the submitter, mentioned your page which pre-dates hers by 8 years, and suggested possibly merging the 2.

My husband and I have observed the hill and felt a cemetery was there. We had been watching! Thank you for what you entered. Those stones were not visible on our visit.

Sincerely, Tommie Moser Nichols, Powell

Mary Eunice Munday Dugger, #21891919
This Mary E. Dugger, #21891919, according to her birth year and info on tombstone is not the wife of William H. Dugger, who married Eunice Munday. This Mary's tombstone indicates that she is the wife of D. C. Dugger. Although, the Dugger line is not direct for me, my Munday's and Presnell's intermarried with them, so I feel that they are part of me.

I, too, am an avid genealogist and have been doing it for several years and always try to find correct info before I enter it into my records. The Eunice Munday, wife of William H. Dugger, is #21985682 and is in Find-a-Grave/

Thanks for all you do.

John William Watson
Doug, I would like to know where you found the name of John William Watson's mother. There has been several of us trying to find that information for quite a few years and have not been able to locate it. If you would please send me where you found the info to It had been removed from Find a Grave but now it is back on there and need proof of the name and the location it can be found. Also his wife, Fannie White Watson, as far as the family knows she was never called 'Penny' so can that please be removed from this site. Thank you.

RE: Jacob Deal b 1813 d 1893
My Jacob Deal(Deil/Deall) was born in NC around 1796, Burke County, NC 1830; found him in Habersham,GA in 1860-67 Census then in the 1870 Powder Springs Census he has married my Mary Medlin age 60, he 77. I dont know where he is buried but she is buried in the Medlin Plot at Union Grove Church Cemetery. I have been to the cemetery but was some years ago. I do know Jacob was married t least twice, one to a Sarah I believe in NC then Mary. Last I find Jacob and Mary with her children by a former Hill in the Oregon and Red Rock, Cobb, Georgia 1880 census with her children by a Hill and one child by Jacob named Moulton Deal age 3 months. there was another child named Cassie Deal who later married twice but the one I know of is a marriage to a man last named Brown. Cassie died over 100 years of age. I would like to know more about these families. I suspect Jacob enlisted in the Civil War and met Mary's one brother who survived the war, Riley Medlin who was in Co H in Lithia springs enlistment ceter and a POW Camp Chase. Thats about it and thank you for any info you have Sue Knudsen in Seattle, WA

Robert C. Duggar
Is the memorial #23504499 for Robert C. Duggar in Orchard Mesa Cemetery in Colorado a duplicate of memorial #23981530 created by AJ on Jan 15, 2008 in
Veterans Cemetery Orchard Mesa? The DOB and DOD are the same.

I am looking for Robert Christopher Duggar, same DOB and DOD who was married to Myrtle Salome Cooper (1908-1992). They had one child, a son, born in 1937.

The memorial by AJ indicates she remarried after Robert died to a McBeth. Her marriage to Robert was her 2nd. She had two children with Bert McClellan, a son and a daughter.

Thanks for the help.
