RE: Mrs. Eugene LeBoeuf
Robin, thank you for being cautious about filling in the dates. Unfortunately, I was going on the premise that this was Adelaide Thibodeaux Lebeouf using her obituary. I think you are right that it might not be wise to add the dates not knowing which Mrs. Eugene it is! Thank you for being cautious. My husband descends from her son, Octave Lebeouf. I am sending you the transcription of the obit that I have and some additional notes just for fyi (my email address is THE CROWLEY SIGNAL
19 March 1924
Mrs. Eugene LEBOEUF, Jr., 92 year old pioneer of the Frey neighborhood, died yesterday evening at the home of her son in law Valin MILLER, children, grandchildren and great great grand children, 49 others having proceeded her to the grave. Few residents of this or any other part of the country have lived to see so many children grow to maturity.
Funeral services were to take place at 5 o'clock this afternoon at the Frey Catholic Church, Rev.
Father VAN EYCK officiating. All friends and relatives are urged to attend.
Deceased was the mother of Mrs. Valin MILLER, with whom she resided, Theogene LEBOEUF of Frey, Octave LEBOEUF of Church Point, Mrs. Noel ROY of Eunice, Mrs. Charles Matt of Eunice, Mrs. James Matt of Church Point all living, and of two deceased, Mrs. Babe BEAUGH and Eugene LEBOEUF.
She is mourned also by 54 grandchildren, 12 others have died, 165 great grandchildren, 34 others deceased, and 11 great great grandchildren, one other having died.
Total number of surviving children and grandchildren is 285 born, 49 having already been claimed by death.
A devout Catholic to the last, Mrs. LEBOEUF attended church regularly until a few years ago, when she became too feebled; and practically blind.
She was a kind mother, and a friend to all who knew her, charitable in every act, word and deed, and numbering her friends by the hundreds.
To the bereaved relatives The Signal joins with many friends in extending the deepest sympathy in the loss sustained.

NOTES: In 1870 St. Landry Parish census, the records show Adelaide Leboeuf as head of house with 6 children living with her. In 1900, Acadia Parish she is living with son-in-law Valin Miller and daughter Zoia BUT she is listed as Deliede THIBODEAUX. In 1910, Acadia Parish she still lives with them, listed as a widow and still as Adelaide THIBODEAUX. ++Did Adelaide remarry or just stop going by Lebeouf?++

RE: Williams Virtual Cemetery

How do I use DNA to see if my grandmother is possibly a second child of Lauretta and L C Till or else connected to another branch of the Till family

Williams Virtual Cemetery
The 1870 Federal Census lists Laretta Williams as a sister of Hugh Williams. She is not included on the site. Do you have any information about her?
At one point she lived with Himelia McWilliams until her marriage to L C Till. She had at least one child.
Thank you for your help.

click on the questionable tombstone photo. Renfro clarifies what it is....even if it's in the wrong place.

Hi Robin, Photos are tricky; I can move them around, but to have one deleted, you must contact the person posting it. They are the only ones (other than the f.a.g. staff) that can delete them. I'm sorry, I see the problem. It's funny he didn't notice there was a tombstone photo there already that didn't match his new one.....

Thank you for the information and request to remove the memorial. Would you please tell me the memorial number for her at Pontotoc cemetery so that I can update information on for Wanda Slaughter (my Mother Inlaw) as she originally created the memorial. Wanda is not active anymore on Find A Grave. Thanks. Charlie Oehler.

Thanks so much for the transfer. I am hoping to find his birth name. Surely at age 6 weeks he would have one. I linked to his parents and working to get all the family linked.

RE: Gloria Williams
Hi Robin,

Thanks for the offer, but I'll pass on managing her memorial. She's not my relative, either. Just wanted to update her memorial (which I guess was originally added a while back) to reflect her death. Thanks!

Thanks so much for the transfer. I am actually trying to find his father's burial place, same name. He was married to my cousin and I am thinking this may be their son. This was a 2nd marriage for her in 1920 and this Sidney was born in 1921.

I posted the Thomas and Susan Murray photos. Then noticed that their son and daughter-in-law are in Bryan City Cemetery, also. Next trip I will photograph William and Sarah/Sadie. No need to request a photo.

Thank you so much for letting me know that you posted it on his memorial. I debated whether or not to send it, but I knew that I would want it if he were my family. I'm glad that it gave you some answers.

Sincerely, Shirley

Robin, I live in Baton Rouge also and have seen two listings in findagrave. They are both yours and may be the same person.
Ashlenn Mayra ---- (103477980) & Ashlenn Mayra Goudeau (103478013). I have tried to figure this out for awhile and thought I would see if you could check it out. One has info and one has no info. Thanks Ken Bosso

Hi Robin,

Please remove the lower grave photo you posted to # 105263784 (for James and Sadie Bodden). The upper photo is fine.

Hi Ms. Robin,

Do you happen to know where Ms. Judy may be buried? I live in north Vernon P, but I go to Alex from time to time and will probably swing past Alex Memorial in the next month or two. I can have a look then, but that cemetery is very big to not know more.
