William Webb
Thanks for your work with findagrave.com.

I have a question about William Webb listed below. What documentation do you have for his parents that you are showing as Clinton Webb and Christian Robinson Webb?

I am researching this family and have found no link to Clinton Webb thus far. Perhaps Im missing something.

It appears William Michael Webb is the son of Thomas Webb, whom I think is William Webbs brother ( listed above). They were in early Marion County, Alabama (later Lamar). Census records in 1850 and 1860 Marion County Alabama show William Michael in the household of Thomas in 1850 and then in 1860 he is living nearby.

Can you help?

Earlene Roden
John P Hannah's Children
On the 1910 Census it list the number of years of present marriage. On John P Hannah has M-2 (Second marriage0 and Trudie M-11 (First Marriage) Then on both for Years Married it has 2/12 (2 Months). Therefore, all the children listed on the 1910 Census must be Rachel's,as the last one was born abt 1904 as he is listed as 6 years. So Rachel must have died after 1904.

Hope this helps.

I believe this is the son of Alvis and Oma Dell Jones. My grandfather (Rufus Jackson Jones) was the son of Alvis and Mattie Jones. Do you have other information on the family? Please email me at danyaleclaybrook@gmail.com

Thanks!!

William Robert Gregory
Hi AJ,

On William Robert Gregory @ #25676581. I think there needs to be a correction as to his actual Birth YEAR, which was 1879 and not 1876, so with all the US Census done on William Gregory, they do show his age as an 'even year' like 20, 30, 40, 50 and not 4, 14 or 24 and so on. In the 1880 US Census, it does show him at 8 months old, which means William was born in 1879, not 1876.

I know, someone screwed up on the paperwork somewhere along the line...., and thats a big screw up...lol., but I think its only fair, to give William Robert Gregory, his actual Birth Year, even though it say 1876 on his Headstone.

Thanks,
Don (mooretoots), researcher for the Gregory and Moore families.
