puzzle
Elizabeth Jaros now has two burial locations (see #166744938)

I wonder if you can call the Arrington Cemetery and see what their records can tell us. Could the stone have been placed there without an actual burial?

The mortuary records here say Elizabeth was buried in a cemetery here in California.

Thanks so much! Let's get this right.

I tried to leave a message but could not. I hope this is not just in my computor but...there is an advertisment over the face of the "I am not a robot"

I would like to hear from you if you are related. I have tons of information on them as his mother was a Fairbanks. Actually, two sisters married men of other familys but..their kids married into each family and the Dixon line belongs to both girls. I am from their brother, James Fairbanks Jr.

Location of the Greenwood Cemetery
Hi Roanna,

My name is Marc Neves and I am a descendant of Griffith Dickenson who's grave you posted on Find a Grave.

I just joined Sons of the American Revolution due to my relation to him.

I am working in Richmond and would like to try and find his grave this coming Thursday but I haven't been able to find anyone in the Chalk Level area who knows where the Greenwood Cemetery is located and there are no directions online as to how to find it.

Can you tell me where it is located so I can find it?

Thanks!

Ms. Cann, can you give me the location of the Compton Family Cemetery in Chalk Level, Va.? You photographed John William Compton's grave marker, he is my 2nd great grandfather through my paternal grandmother who was a Compton. My aunt and I will be going to 2 other family cemeteries in that area and would like to stop at this one. I cannot find the location on the web. Thank you.

I had a photo for John Horsley that I have added. His death year, however, is 1887. Thanks for your contributions.

Monroe-Tate Cemetery which says it's a little less than 1/2 mile north of Route 40 on Telegraph Road.

I would ask Mike but his profile says he has unfortunately passed away,

Thanks, Beth

RE: Richard Whitehead, Jr. Memorial #25663813
First of all thank you for all your work in documenting the Whitehead graves in Chatham Burial Park. It was through your efforts that I discovered the grave of my GGG grandfather Richard Whitehead,Jr and the wonderful information and links included on the memorial.
I've got a question I hope you can answer. Is the picture that is posted on the memorial of the actual headstone for Richard Jr. at Chatham?
The reason I ask is that there is an identical gravestone for I believe the same man in the Monroe-Tate cemetery in Greenfield where he is buried with his wife, Elizabeth Caroline Brown, reference Memorial #84433764.
The gravestone dates on the pictures look identical as do the shape and text.
So I'm wondering whether he has two headstones or the picture on the Memorial #25663813 at Chatham is incorrect. If you look at the picture it shows May as the month of his death not April.
Sorry to be so wordy. What do you advise? Beth

Camden Cemetery
We are trying to get the location of the Camden Cemetery. We used to take Ethel Davidson, Ruth Davidson and Lily Davidson up there to a cabin that was near the cemetery. Could you give me the route numbers of how to get to it? Thanks.

Jon Carpenter
Wiley Jones (Baldwin City Cemetery) Kansas
I see you left a message indicating Wiley Jones was your ggg grandfather. Which one of his children does your line flow through? My Great Uncle Charles married Mary Jones in Baldwin in 1873. His property was situated just north of my Great Grandfather, James E. Carpenter. I decided to take a shot that you might have some interesting information to share and I might have some for you. Here is a link that shows their properties in 1857 and they are just East of Prairie City, Kansas. http://www.kansasmemory.org/item/217187/page/1

Please write back and let me know if we have a connection! Thanks, Jon Carpenter

I was so pleased to see that you had published the information on Corp. Joseph Shields Camden. He is a son of my 2x great-grandfather Benjamin Franklin Camden and grandson of my 3x great grandfather Pvt. George Washington Camden. The Shields is his mother's last name and her parents lived on the farm next door to them in the 1850 census. I was both thrilled and proud to find a soldier who fought at Gettysburg, but sorry to find that he fought for the Confederacy. Still wonderful to find this. Thank you. I have recently found many many relatives from these earlier generations and they come from a reliable source. If you would like email me at indyphotog30@gmail.com or text me at 7658601990. Thanking you so much,
Kay Annette Camden Nichols

I believe you are a descendant of William Jones. I recent joined Daughters of 1812 under William Jones. I places a few copies of his War of 1812 on his Find a Grave site. I have a copy of all the papers in his 1812 file, if you are interested.
