Noticed on your memorial that you have him with two wives. Wife 1, Elizabeth McFarland m. 2 March 1853, and married 2nd wife Catherine Brown in 1865. Elizabeth is still living, do you know if they divorced?

May I use a copy of your photo of his grave for the non-profit Supporting Heroes, Inc. web site? They pay tribute to emergency first responders killed in the line of duty. I will give you acknowledgement. Thank you!

For Gilbert Downey. Hi Lisa. Would you verify your photo date of birth and death? It appears to show 1947, which is the info you provided as well, but I found a birth cert for Gilbert, son of Ben Gilbert Downey and Elsie Stephens which shows a birth and death date of 1 Oct 1936, Stillborn.

I found a death record documented on Ancestry.com which states tha this Wm's father and mother were Joel & Nancy Herriford (Hereford) Blankenship instead of John & Elizabeth Sheeks Blankenship as your monument states. How sure are you of the information you posted? The 1850 census already has Wm as being married to Elmarra so there's no earlier data available there.

Thank you for posting the information and pictures for William David Riggins and Catherine Brown. (Find A Grave Memorial# 40648978)
Is the dates of their death on the tombstone? Where did you get the 1890 death date for William? I found a William and Catherine Riggins in both the 1900 and 1910 Census. ( I know it is a very popular name).
I was also curious about the marriage date for Catherine and William.
do you have iWilliam's first wife Ellizabeth died?

The coordinates are the same on this cemetery as are on the list that I have. So I do know the one in Silex, on Dirigo property is the correct Stephens cem. It has 19 diff names than the ones listed on this site. I will go there tomorrow and take pics

I got all of the Rambo stones standing up straight again and posted some new pictures. The stones in the foreground are their footstones and they are blank.

No problem Lisa, I'll see if I can get it standing up again the next time I'm out there and get you a better picture. I could barely make out the name but I was able to read the date and it matched up.

Hey Lisa, I just wanted to let you know that I looked for a stone for Hannah at Haynes Cemetery and couldn't find it. There were 3 fieldstones there that I could tell had engraving, but they couldn't be read, so I washed them off with water and none of them turned out to be her. There are two stones close to where Enos Rambo is buried that I thought might be her but there is nothing engraved on them, or nothing left of it if there ever was. I think I've checked all of the fieldstones at this point, but I'll make another pass around the next time I'm there to double check. I was expecting to find it since it was in one of the cemetery books.
