RE: Thx
You're very welcome. :) I always like connecting with fellow cat people. I'll be back to leave many more tokens in the future.

RE: Thanks
Misty, Your welcome. I love cats too and wish I could help them more cause there are so many homeless cats all over the word who need our help. I have 3 cats and they were all strays, and they are the best little people I know. Take care and thanks for loving cats. There is a web site called Catster, where you can make memorials for your living Cats and Cats that go home with Jesus to Rain Bow Bridge. Check it out you might like it?

checking in...
How's your mum making out these days?

This week we got my mom to her high school reunion... she was in her wheelchair, but by gum, she was there!

RE: thinking
Thanks for your note. I'm sorry your mum's gone into a home, and hope she's ok to get back home soon! We're getting ready for Mother's Day here. Mine's ok, still chesty and a bit goofy but seems ok otherwise. I think it will be better for her when there's less pollen- right now it's very thick, a green dust over everything. Hang in there and take care of you so you can be strong for Mum.

RE: happy easter
... and to you and yours, Misty. Sorry to hear your mum has a chest infection, but glad to know she's in your good hands for now. My mom has some chest thing going on too - maybe it's the change of season, but she's breathless a lot. Anyhow, take good care, enjoy the holiday, and may God bless.

Hello misty
Hi misty you are welcome

Added by Angel moz on Mar 22, 2010 10:25 AM

hey misty...
just checking in. Thanks for doing the same a few weeks back. I hope your mom and family is doing ok and coming along. Your last note sounded positive and I hope it's continued. My mom's been so-so here, but seems to like where we're moving to. She's really forgetful now. The hip has pretty much healed as much as it's going to, which isn't perfect, but serviceable. Take good care, see you around.

Melissas sis
Hi Misty
Thank you for leaving my sis Melissa a nice flower and the kind words. It is very thoughtful of you. I also enjoy looking at your cat memorials. I have lost many special pets over the years, I read a great book called "The Rainbow Bridge Pet Loss is heaven's Gain" by Niki Shanahan. It gave me alot of comfort when I lost my cat Thumpy a few years ago.God Bless you and your family always..
Love Heidi

RE: re mums
Hi Misty, it was nice to get your note. I'm glad you and your mum are chugging along. Stroke recoveries are funny because you never know what will come back when, and you have to be patient because what you used to take for granted may now require a little thought and effort. It can make you feel a little stupid, but it's learning new ways to do old things.

Thanks for asking after Mom, it's very kind of you. She is doing fair... her hip is actually not her biggest problem, though it's healing well and she can walk with her walker. Unfortunately, she has a number of conditions, the worst being scleroderma (the limited variety, which is making it hard for her to breathe due to pulmonary hypertension and fibrosis) and a UTI she got from the hospital 3 years ago. It's a resistant bug no antibiotic can kill so she's subject to bouts of bad pain. But, thankfully, she soldiers on, and we keep looking for answers. Still on track to move... probably in the next month. Take good care of both of you, and keep the faith!

thank you, misty
Hope you and Mom are doing well and fighting back to help her get back all she can.

I am always appreciative of your visits but am just now getting back to folks like you to say a special "thank you" for honoring my friend Olivia. She was a lovely, caring lady who took responsibility for many lives, most of them cats, and a few men too :-) No doubt she's appreciative of your visit - she always loved company!

I know you understand the recovery/caregiving gig. Right now, taking care of Mom post-surgery, I'm on very slow dialup at my mom's house, and unable to reciprocate as I would like by visiting some of your loved ones as I try to do (my scrapbook won't download, even after 5 minutes) but I will make an effort to do so when I have a faster connection. Once in a while I get someone to stay with my mom and then I fly to my own house where there's cable. If I can't get away, then I will visit your folks when we move into a new home which we hope to be in, in a month or two. In the meantime, please know your kindness was noticed and I'm glad to know Olivia is remembered.

Your Mom
I will keep her in my prayers. My grandmother had a stroke before she died.I know how difficult it can be for them.

RE: thanks
Hi Misty, thanks for your note. I'm so sorry to hear about your mum. I've been caring for mine since she fell and broke her hip this summer. It's really hard to see them struggling and diminished. You will be in my prayers for strength, and Mum too for healing. Strokes are funny because you never know what's going to come back when, and I hope she surprises you both. Take good care, hang in there, and may God bless.
