Hi Richard, I have added a better photo of William's headstone and also added a photo of John's headstone at Pine Street Cemetery.

I am the guy that did the sign for Pine Street Cemetery. Something I have intended to do for several years and finally completed. Even repainted the sign at Chestnut Hill Cemetery.

Will also send you and family a early "Happy Thanksgiving" greeting. Mark Weitzel

I have added gravestone photos on the Findagrave memorials for August's grandparents: #160086998 John Gerholz(1861-8/23/1952) & #160086926 Bertha Gerholz (1857-10/30/1943). I can look up their obits & baby August Gerholz's obit in the library newspaper archives if you are interested. Are you related?

RE: Minnie Gums in Evergreen Cemetery, Fort Atkinson, WI
There was a Charles C Leschinsky who lived in Hardin County and later remarried (?) and moved from the area. The "C" in his middle name could possibly be Clarence - I don't know this for sure. Do what you like with the information - I would suspect, if she did marry, it was for a very, very short period of time (1-2 years max) due to her early death. The obit information is a puzzle then.

Minnie Gums in Evergreen Cemetery, Fort Atkinson, WI

I got this information from the bio you entered on her father, Christian Gums and it is also confirmed in the obit of Eliza Gums Koester's #97173844

RE: Betcher Graves
Hi Richard. Eva Lapointe was my paternal Great Great Grandmother - give me a few days to research this further, I have copies of most of the marriage records on this side and am happy to correct the memorial as needed. I'll let you know when it's completed.

My best wishes,
Kellie Walton

As for this, I didn't ignore jack squat. You never sent it. I have no record of ever receiving an edit on a bio for this person. I even looked back through my email logs for the past four months. If you want added, please send again and I'll add.

RE: Sadie R. Blair
After I click accept it automatically clears all entries. I don't know who you are talking about.

Please send the memorial thru the edit tab on the memorial page, add a note for what you want done.

thanks a bunch

RE: My mistake
In this instance, no, they are not two different people. Gravestones are sometimes added years after death, so are not always accurate.

I am not going to re-enter a memorial with those dates; in my mind I would be creating a duplicate. I believe you have the correct information. I'm just saying, because of the headstone, you shouldn't be surprised if another duplicate gets created.

By the way, I will forget all about this tomorrow... you are not alone with a senior memory. hehe

RE: My mistake
This was confusing for me.

I had a memorial, you had a memorial, similar name, different dates. You sent an edit to change my dates to match yours. Then you sent a message saying, your memorial was created prior. Which makes mine a duplicate.

I felt like I was being conned.

But after rechecking the edits to see what had been changed, looking up my source -- the cemetery records, researching Anna on, I have concluded the two memorials are duplicates.

May I point out, my original dates of 1867-1944 (before your edit) match the dates on Anna's gravestone. When I create memorials I do take the time and effort to check so I don't create duplicates on purpose. Because your dates don't match the gravestone, you might run into more memorials being created based on the gravestone dates.

Best wishes to you.

Your welcome. I haven't given up yet. I met a man from my town yesterday out at the cemetery. He is on the cemetery comity. I am hoping to get together with the comity to work on a map of graves.

At the time I made the changes for both Martin and his wife, I added Mary to Martin's family link. It was obvious since both entries included a picture of them together.

RE: Florence C Hull
I forgot to mention that I sent edits to Frank Luther Hull (Chestnut Hill Cemetery) and Guy E Hull (Allegany Cemetery) to link them to their parents, David and Ann Morris Hull. Guy E Hull: found his WW I Card registration and his name is William Guy Edmund Hull.

Thank you, Kathy B

Weather cooperated! I took new photographs and added them to her memorial. Glad another look at this little stone provided vital information.

Florence died on April 24, 1864. Age 1 Yr. 11 Mo's and 21 D's.

I also put a photo of the foiled stone on her memorial.

Her stone is broken off at the base. I leaned it against her parent's monument as it will be best protected in this location and not propped on her base unprotected from lawn mowing.

RE: Florence C. Hull
This will be no problem at all. I will take a run up to the cemetery. It looks like she was 11 months and 2 days old. To be sure, I will foil the stone and let you know. Hopefully, we will get a 40* day soon. I will be in touch, Kathy B
