RE: beta download?
It is sponsored by Find a Grave. If you look at your page o the right about half way down it will say " photos to transcribe". That is part of it. If you look at the cemetery site it has a place where it says transcriptions. It will have a place to download photos and another to transcribe photos. That is what Find a Grave calls beta.

RE: beta download?
Hi Bob,
Also found if I use Beta and enter two names on a grave but later learned one of these two names already has a photo and I remove the new photo from that name I may loose it from both named individuals. It does not always do this but did it to me twice this morning.

RE: beta download?
Bob if you use the beta download it does not record the request be filled nor does it notify the requestor that the request was fulfilled. I have left a comment to Find a Grave but have not received a response. I like the beta but it does not work for fulfilling requests. Most of the request on the Bourne National

RE: Private Clifford Stopforth
Hi Bob - Its Heaton cemetery, Bolton, Greater Manchester. The largest cemetery in a large town.

As it happens I had a cheeky look myself and, like you, could see no other Stopforths. There are however 15 Stopforths in the Bolton phone directory.

From the birth, marriage and death register (see -free search) one can see the wedding in 1894 of Thomas Stopforth and Alice Bailey in Bolton, and the births of Doris,1904 Elsie, 1912 James, 1910 and Clifford, 1918, all in Bolton. Doris Stopforth died unmarried in 1978. Elsie Stopforth became either Elsie Fox in 1934 or Elsie Harlow in 1941.

Sorry Bob I seem to have lost my photos from St Bridgets cemetery in Beckermet, I will have to go back some day and take some more to do a memorial for his mam and dad.

Good catch.

I often contribute to FindaGrave on the run, using my phone.

At some point i may have requested a transfer of the earlier posting, or Ms. Paine may have transferred on her own (some d0!). Either way, I have mgt of both, now, so I will be deleting the newer, less complete BU posting, as you imply. I have taken the time to notify both of the "flowerers", in case they want to leave another token on the remaining memorial. I will leave my posting up temporarily, in case they don't remember what I'm talking about (I, myself, can be amazingly forgetful, one of the reasons I enjoy Find A Grave so much.) Both flowerers have left many more tokens than they have participated in any other way, so they might need memory jogged a bit.

Thanks again, and thanks for all your other contributions to this site which fascinates, infuriates, and generally entertains me when I find the time.

I'm sure they are great. I thank everyone who fills one - I just don't always have time to open the messages and do that. Sometimes it takes me a bit to have time for genealogy :)

Hello, Bob-
Hope you're still enjoying your travels!
I'm back working on the memorial pages for the Canadians who served and fell during the Korean War, and I wonder if you would allow me to link eight more of your memorial pages to the Korean War Memorial in Brampton, Ontario? The Memorial Page numbers for these soldiers are 118590386, 118608593 , 118608576 , 118590417 , 118590382 ,
118608578 , 118590398 and 118590387 . Thanks so much, in advance, for your kind attention and consideration. Warm regards.
